What the *@*$#!

Geezy peezy!!!!  So, you all know about my recent battle to get a peer-to-peer scheduled. I took it upon myself to call BCBS and ask IF anyone has called to ask about scheduling it.  They had NO record of anyone from my surgeon's office calling.  I'm really starting to wonder where this "communication barrier" is stemming from.  So,  I emailed my surgeon's office again and gave them the number. I was very polite and told them that they had no record of anyone calling and I just wanted to verify that they had the correct number.

I'm at my wit's end.

Oh, for the love of God!!!  That's just inexcusable!!  Just my opinion, Lisa, but I think I'd be PERSONALLY calling in addition to the emails.  Because they can always say, "Oh, we never got any emails."

I'm frustrated FOR you.  SO. NOT. FAIR.

Geez!!  I would call Dr. S' office and bug the heck out them until they give you an answer.  I might suggest calling Christine Walsh, the Nurse Administrator for the JH Bariatric Program.  Whenever I had a problem I called her and she got it resolved in quick order!!

That is incredibly annoying. Hopefully they get your email and get their butt in gear!

Did you talk to or cc Christine on that email?  AND Dr. S himself?  I don't know who you are dealing with, but I find that with Teresa in particular, whenever I include Christine and Dr. S. that I get better and timely responses.

I'm going to forward the email I sent to Teresa to Christine in the morning. I hate to be like that, but I want to get this moving. I've been waiting long enough! At least if they do the damn peer to peer and they still deny, I can look at other options. 

I'm with you Lisa, I hate to do that, but I hate being screwed with even more. Don't feel bad - she's not doing her job, period.  You have to watch out for YOU and your best interests.  Besides, it's not like you're going to get her in trouble by going to Christina... if that were the case she'd have been fired a long time ago based on the number of people I hear that have to go straight to Christina to get answers. :)
