3 Things for Humpday

Good Morning Maryland:

Tia is having internet problems from work so I will get things started this morning.

Today I am grateful for:

1.  Heard thru a third party that my nephew is loving life in Florida  living
with my brother  -  I'm so glad to hear that -  I miss him but he needs
to be there right now!!

2.  For my pool class last night :  only took one but did 1 hour on my own  before that-
the warm water kept my shoulder from hurting -  sigh wish I could live in that pool LOL

3.  For cell phones and internet that keep me in touch with friends - sometimes
even though we all live in the area thats the only contact we have with each other so I am grateful
for modern technology!

Morning Darla,
I was beginning to think I had been deserted by all this morning!  It is sooo quiet here as well as on other message boards I keep up with!

For me today...

1. Hubby - he has been walking with me every evening (against his nature and will!) and hasn't grumbled to much about having to be "the dog handler" since I can't control him on my own when other dogs are involved!

2. Family - more than ever they are banding together around my cousin whose finace called off their wedding 3 weeks before her bridal shower - I have tons of favors (50) and center pieces, but at least the wedding was called off before it got farther than it did - only two gifts to return!

3. Payday - so ready for it, we had more than the norm in added expenses these past two weeks, and I hate spending our savings.

I was wondering what was up but I'm loathe to start the 3fer post even though i'm up and at work when some of you are just rolling over....


1. a hubby that gets the coffee pot ready for the next morning
2. that i can go home at lunch and check on a dog that refused to go crate for the girl child this morning
3. that tomorrow MAY be my final NUT visit.

Good Morning, or it will be when I find my cell phone charger. It is not in any of the usual places - UGH! I need to FOCUS today! That is my mantra! Anyway,

Today I am grateful for....

1 - My hair stylist, who cut me a deal yesterday so that I can still look presentable while watching my pennies.

2 - For pool classes - No surprise here - I still love the pool!

3 - For all of my friends and family.

Darla , are you sure that Tia is at work?  You know how she's often off from work and was talking about that comp time she was planning to use?

My three things for today:

1.  This afternoon I get to eat solids - after 2 days of liquid - BUT my liquid wasn't bad at all - I had the cheddah cheez soup - yummo!!!!!

2.  I had a great time at JCP training last night, and am looking forward to really working there!

3.  I get paid this week for the Saturday training - this means I get paid by JCP one week, the next by my real job, so I get a paycheck every week  whoot whoot!  I can see my credit card balances decreasing by the end of the summer!

what did i miss why were you on liquids for two days?

LOL Candy :  well she says shes at work -  No A/C so shes not a happy camper

I had a fill in my band on Monday - when I saw Dr. Singh - I'm a bander.  After a fill (or an adjustment, depending on who you are talking to), Dr. Singh wants us on liquids for 48 hours to give our stomachs a chance to get used to the new restriction before eating solids.
