3 Things for Tuesday
Good Morning Darla!!!
I'm grateful for:
1. The extra two hours of sleep I got last night!
2. My scale finally budging a bit this morning. Seems it was stuck. Maybe I need a new one?!
3. Hearing from my oldest yesterday (haven't spoken to him since Mothers Day), and spending time with the rest of my children and mother Saturday-Monday.
4. For finding another Greek Restaurant I just love!!
5. Being welcomed back by my OH family.
6. Relay for Life next week! It's going to be a great time.

Heather I am so glad you are OK. I am sorry you now have to deal with the repair work.
Today, I am grateful for...
1 - For the gym. It is the one constant right now that I am able to hold on to.
2 - For my friends and family.
3 - For this beautiful weather.
4 - I am really looking forward to the Relay on the 12th.

Thanks for doing the post this a.m., Darla!! I forgot to tell you I had a dental appt. this a.m. Just for a cleaning, thank goodness. And......I don't have to see another dentist (unless there's a problem) for the next SIX MONTHS!!! WOOOOO-HOOOO!!!
Seems like we're having a run of bad luck here on the boards. I hope that everything gets straightened out for everyone. For those of you hurting, here' s a kiss on your boo-boos!!! Except for Nic - that kiss is on your FOREHEAD!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. That I restrained myself enough to NOT slap MOTY last night at K's National Junior Honor Society induction. K looked AMAZING, by the way. My brother took pics, K has MY camera, so as soon as I get them, I'll post them. She looked so grown up - even painted her nails aqua to match her outfit!!! LOL!!!!! Several of her teachers commented on what a wonderful girl she is, and this really ticked me off - rather than saying, "Thank you," MOTY had to open her big, ugly, gutter garbage mouth and say, "Too bad she's not like that at home!" OMFG!! What would POSSESS a mother to say something like that????? I was SOOOO embarrassed for her, and my brother basically ripped MOTY a new one over the phone later. Then, while we were sitting there, Mom commented on how nice K's hair looked (she had it pulled back and secured prettily). Not to be outdone, MOTY pipes up and says, "Well, she's getting it ALL cut off!" and I said, "What????!!!" because K wants her hair longer and my brother told her as long as she kept it neat and clean, he didn't care. MOTY said, "Well, she gets breakouts, blah, blah, blah, and she's not going to like it and I'm not sure what style I'm going to get, but it's getting cut off!" My brother said, "Over my dead body!" Keep in mind that MOTY is NOT in any way, shape or form, conscious of how SHE looks - one day sloppy, one day trampy, sometimes unclean, etc. THEN, she was ticked because no one told her about K's bday party AHEAD of us scheduling it. Umm, why? You gonna pay for it? In the past, she's NEVER contributed anything to any of their parties, she merely brings balloons, which, of course, shows what a good Mommy she is. Okay, I gotta stop now. You get my point!!
2. TJ's - I bought K beautiful flowers there last night, and some yummy peanut butter filled pretzel nugges (dammit, Boxer!!!). These things are ADDICTIVE!!!! 11 of them for 150 calories and 5 g of protein, so as snacks, it could've been a lot worse!!!
3. That Mom, Dad and I went out afterward for ice cream and Mom and Dad didn't act like chihuahuas nipping at each other!!!! I swear, I feel like I have four children some days!!!
Okay, gonna try to shake off this mood and dump out the remainder of the bottle of Haterade!!!!
