3 Things for Tuesday
Thanks for starting this Darla! Can't wait to see you next Friday!
I have a lot to be grateful for this morning after my car accident last night. For those that did not read it on Facebook, a schoolbus cut me off (I was on the road and she merged improperly onto it) and then came to a dead stop. I didn't have enough time to come to a complete stop and ended up hitting it. Fortunately I wasn't going fast enough for the airbags to deploy. I'm afraid I would have been injured if they had. As it is my neck was sore yesterday but feels fine this morning. My knee hit the dash and has a good sized bruise but is otherwise fine. The bus driver and the two kids still on the bus were fine. The bus literally didn't even have a scratch on it. My front end is a disaster and a tow truck had to come get the car - off to the body shop today. WOOHOO...they make a fortune off of me. I have bad luck and people love to run into me!! My Honda Element is just under a year old and I'm looking forward to getting it back all fixed up and looking like new!!
So, today I'm grateful...
1. That no human was injured in the accident.
2. For good car insurance and rental reimbursement while the car is in the shop.
3. That my husband was able to make it from the Eastern Shore in record time to pick me up just as the tow truck got there.
4. For all the good wishes from everyone!
Have a good day all!

I know, right?! The fact that she is charged with keeping kids safe while driving that bus and drove in that manner, boggles my mind. She had to pull over and wait for the police to write up the report and everything so even though the kids weren't injured, they were at least 45-60 minutes late getting home!! Fortunately a bus company rep or a county rep came out to evaluate the bus (not a scratch), so hopefully this will go on her record...of course, she probably blamed me! The only thing she said when she got out of the bus was "are you calling the police?"
Heather I'm so glad to hear that you are okay and that no one else was injured. Wow... that must have been scary. Hopefully hubby kissed the boo-boo on your knee for faster healing.
I've been looking at the Elements and the HRH's lately. Not sure if I'm ready for a car payment though.
Again, glad to hear you are fine.
