beach getaway
You KNOW I'll be there!!! In fact, I've taken off that Friday (and the following week), so I can come down as early as you need me to help out!!!!!
I plan on bringing some wls friendly snacks, and while I'm VEHEMENTLY opposed (LMAO) to eating a meal (other than a protein shake or bar) at the house, I've been on the hunt for some good things to make for everyone. Believe me, my not wanting to eat in has NOTHING to do with the company - it's just that I cook SO much during the week, that like Gail said, vacation means NO COOKY for Tia. I do cook when I go down to OC with the familiy, but that's more to save $ than anything else. My family vacation usually centers around the kids, so just to have time to sit on the beach and read is a vacay for me!!!
I want to have crab somewhere while I'm down there, so be it carry out to be eaten at the house or AUCE at a restaurant - I'M HAVING CRABS!!!!!! LOL!!
Gail, prior to you saying anything about the cost, I had thought of asking everyone to secretly (not anymore) pitch in $10-20 pp and getting a restaurant gift card for you and Bruce. If, in fact, cash would help defray the costs of anything, then I'm happy to do that for you.
I'm just so touched that you would invite and allow all of us to get away with you, I'll pretty much do anything you like!!!!
I also am bringing wine, water, wine, drink packets, wine, a CD player and music, wine, and oh, yeah, did I say wine???? LOL!!!!
The only board games we have are kid-oriented, although I LOVE Candyland, we definitely need some board games, so if anyone has any good ones, could you bring them?
