Saturday In the Park..
Morning all,
it's the weekend.
it's 8 am i'm up I'm showered it's a busy busy day for us
a pool graduation party for the family and then hubby and I have a dinner party tonite with 2 other couples...
i'm going to take the dogs for a small walk now...
hope everyone has a great weekend.
I immediately heard Chicago, but am NOT an old fart!!! I don't think of YOU as one either, but if you insist!!!!
I'm at my brother's right now with B and his friend. I'm beat after yesterday's trip to DC with K - we had a good time. It made me realize something though - I don't like kids!!! Except the ones that are partly mine!!!
Oh, and everything was SOOOOOOOOO $$$$!!! Good thing I took money!! Some of the kids in our group only had a few dollars, and there was NOTHING you could get for a few dollars!
Not sure what time my brother's getting home today, so I'm doing laundry, we're going to lunch later and I'm going to try to sit outside and read a book for a bit.
Tomorrow, I've got a load of typing to do and I think we're cooking out.
That's my weekend!!!
Hugs,
T
I agree, at times I'm thankful I never had kids because I really enjoy giving those that are 'partially mine' (as Tia so eloquently put it...) back when I'm done.
Today I see a lot of weeding. All this rain has brought about weeds I never knew existed!
Have a good busy day!
I'm thinking a little cleaning, a few errands, and then reading in the sun! No grand plans here...just chillaxin'!
I hear ya on the kids T! If I had had them young maybe I'd feel differently but now...hell no!
People ARE rude!! Especially in crowd situations. I'm less and less tolerant of all of it as I get older!! But heck...you already knew that! LOL!!
