Hey peeps!

Just dropping by to say hello!  I've not been able to really be online too much.  Both girls keep me really busy and on top of it all I've taken on some at home "work" for my aunt editing dissertation papers for grad students.  Lacie is starting solids so that's exciting; and messy LOL.  I hope everyone is well and I MISS EVERYONE!  I'm anxious about my surgery on 6/11, but not in a bad way.  Just hoping for great results.  We got some good news on Dad.  His chemo worked well and between the two lung tumors, there is just one left and it's the size of a pea now.  He still has the bone cancer and the lymph nodes to worry about, but for now the lung cancer is in "pre-remission".  He'll have maintenance chemo indefinitely until "the end" which depends on the other issues.  I'll try to lurk as much as possible and chime in when I can, but feel free to call/PM/text me if you want!

Hey!  My email's down (bank issues), and I've been running frantically doing things with KB - end of school year bs - everything's scheduled at once, softball, field trips, etc.  Not a lot of time for anything else!

K was selected for the Junior National Honor Society and gets inducted Monday night!  I'm so proud of her!  B's doing good, too, as I type, he and his bff are ALREADY playing the Wii!!!  K and I went to DC yesterday, B had a field trip to the ballgame last night, and today, K's at Hersheypark with MOTY for a band competition, so I have the two boys all day. 

Wow!  Lacie on solids already!!!  I need to at least drop off the game I have for Kylie - you'd think, as much time as I spend in my car, I could get over that way!  Most of the stuff I have to do centers in Essex, though!

I need some crabs!  Do you want to try to do some before you have surgery or just wait until you've recovered a bit?

That's AWESOME about your Dad!!!  Let him know about my email issues - I'd been emailing him and don't want him to think I was forgetting him.

Well big congrats to Katie!!!  I hope you survived your day with the two boys lol  Lacie technically is supposed to start solids when she is 6 months, but at 5 months she was grabbing at my plate and every time we'd sit down to eat she would CRY.  So, I started giving her a little bit of rice cereal to get her started and she's also had squash, sweet potato, pears, and applesauce.  She does really well, but it's just learning right now.  I won't put her on a true meal schedule until she's 6 months.  Don't need the pediatrician yelling at me about childhood obesity.  Kylie started at 4 months before they changed all the rules to 6 months and her BMI is perfect.  Crabs, we actually just had some this weekend, but we're talking about getting some before my surgery since I'm not going to participate after while at the beach.  Yep, Dad had great news. I'll tell him you are having email issues.

Hey Heather!  We miss you too.  Glad to hear things are going well for your family and we'll be thinking good thoughts for ya on the 11th!

Heather I am happy to hear your dad ios doing so good. Thats a blessing.. I will be praying things go well with you on the 11th and I am sure they will. We will keep our prayers and thoughts coming your way...

Hey girlie!!!  I hope you are feeling better!  I got sick and barfed VERY forcefully and my band slipped a LOT.  So they are going in to see if they can pull the slipped stomach down and resuture it, but if not the doc will remove the band and resection my stomach like the sleeve surgery.  I'm hoping for the latter!

i hope you get the right surgery too LOL good luck sweetie
