3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY!

Good morning! Actually, bad morning for me!! GRRR!!! I continue to have email issues with AOL/Compuserve, and although I'm only going to have it for a while longer until my new computer is hooked up and I get Comcast, I NEED TO CHECK MY EMAILS AND CAN'T. But worst of all is M&T Bank buying Provident. I've received all of their pretty letters telling me what was going to happen and keep waiting for my new card. Nothing. So yesterday, I find out that my existing card (Provident) has been deactivated, which of course, means NONE of my bills are getting paid. So I call "customer service," and I use that term loosely, to find out that they mailed out the last batch of cards on Friday, yet shut down ALL Provident cards yesterday. They could only tell me that my card was mailed "in May," but couldn't tell me when, and advised me to wait until Friday, and if I haven't received my card, to call. Okay, so IF I don't and have to call and get them to send me a new card, it's going to take 2-3 weeks. OMFG!! I am so PISSED I can't stand myself. I didn't ask for a new bank, I was perfectly happy with the one I had!! Hence, because my card has been deactivated, Compuserve couldn't access it to take out the payment so they cancelled me - no notice, no nothing. I've NEVER missed a payment with them, because I always had automatic billing set up!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Okay, rant over - at least until I find something else to ***** about. Oh, yeah, and I'm having a bad hair day thanks to the humidity!!!

So today, I have just one, and it already got it's own post:

Kaity was accepted into the National Junior Honor Society!!! I am SO proud of her, she's worked SO hard for this. Induction is Monday and it's a dressy event. Keep in mind that Kaity's wardrobe consists of jean shorts and Twilight t-shirts. Somehow, I don't think that's gonna fly. So....we need to go dressy clothes shopping. Which would be fine, if she wasn't short and chunky - this is SO not gonna be fun!!!

So......cheer me up, tell me what your gratefuls!!!

Let's see....grateful.....oh, yeah:

I'm grateful that Nicole is recovering from her surgery.

I'm grateful that 2.5 pounds of the 4 pound Memorial Day weekend glutton-fest is gone this morning.

I'm grateful that today is the ten-year anniversay of my very special first date with my husband (and that we are still together to celebrate it!)

Sorry to hear about your bad hair day. In this economy, more and more companies aren't looking at customer's past credit history when you miss a payment, they just assume that you aren't going to pay. I know with the transition we have had in my company and change in personnel, we have been put on credit hold 2 times in the last month and we have always paid our bills on time. WTF. Anyway, hope your day goes better for the rest of it. Here are mine for today:

1. Tonight is support group meeting and I sooooo need it.

2. Red shoes ~ need I say more. I always feel good in red shoes.

3. That I got "noticed" by the girls in the office this morning (with the boss standing right there). I love when you're having a feel good day.
