You getting a date in August might just be the encouragement he needs to step up his game and lose those last 17 pounds... After all the chest Xray should be a breeze!

I am guessing after school starts is NOT a good option for him!

nope it's NOT... he will have to miss at least 2 weeks of work... and girl child will not be able to be home with him all day AND he has no sick pay... so we would be salaryless for the time he's out of work.... doable but puts a crimp in stuff.

I would use gentle reminders that he might be stuck home alone if he doesn't get his done before school starts... just a gentle prod!

I am sure he KNOWS this, but did it sink in is a whole different thought process!
