Not a dry eye in the house

 Memorial at the Capital.  Just finished the watching the story of a serviceman injured in combat and his road towards recovery.  At the story's end the speakers walked to the audience and kissed him on the cheek.  Even Tom Cruise was watery eyed. Amazing tribute.

What I was referring to was the yummy high carb, high caloric foods usually found at barbeque's. I would NEVER disrespect the men and women who give of themselves, so we can live in a country of freedom. I am sorry to you and anyone else who might have not understood my intent of a guilt free barbecue. As usual, it's all about the food!  Leslie

Meaning well taken.  I did fight the Grill out yesterday and survived.  No noodle, potato salads, white foods, burgers, dogs, fried chicken wings, BBQ.  Just 3 bites of NY strip and 1/2 ear of corn Its a whole new way of pigg'n out

Oh wow, I dont think you meant anything negative. I also dont think that any of us would disrespect our men and women who have been and or are currently fighting for our country. I understand Leslie that you were talking about foods that we should all steer clear of no matter of the date and time or holiday. Take care and my feelings are not hurt nor did you offend me..
