3 THINGS FOR TGIF!!

OMG!!  Is it?  Could it possibly be?  YES, IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
LOL!!!  Um.......I think we're all in agreement that our #1 thing is:

1.  It's Friday!!  Holy hell, it's been a week!!!  Actually, for me, it's been two weeks!!!  How can a week so jam-packed with stuff go so SLOOOOOOWLY? 

2.  Lunch with the girls today - Okay, some of them!!!  And I'm jonesing for some Al Pacino!!!  See you at 12!!!

3.  FB - I know I've used this a couple of times, but thanks to my elementary school bff's gorgeous daughter, I'm now back in daily touch with my sweet friend, Katie.  She INSISTS that I don't look any different than the friend she remembers (SHE does, but she's got two kids and two grandkids!!).  She lives in Florida now, so we're already looking ahead to when she comes to Baltimore for Thanksgiving and when I (hopefully) can get to Daytona Beach next February.  I've got to get there before March, because she and her hubby own an a/c business, and from March until October, they're swamped!  It's been so neat, but freaky - I get these weird chills when I read her emails.  It's as if I'm transported back to Hawthorne Elementary School and time has stood still!!!

4.  Mom's coming home tomorrow!!!  Don't know what time, but Happy and I have sure missed her!!  And............SHE'S BRINGING PRESENTS!!!  WOOOOOO!!

it's FRIDAY, it''s half a day, it's a 3 day weekend and ITS SUMMERTIME!!!!!!!!!!!


my things:

1. lunch with the bunch... well some of us!!!   I was just checking the menu and i'm hoping that Tag (our waitress's name is TAG btw I asked) will let me sub out rice for extra salad and i'm splurging on KABOBS... trying so hard to stay as carb free as possible...

2. cute new outfit... (and waxed legs Yay)  can't wait to see you guys

3.  half a day today!  leaving at 11:30 and I'm DONE till TUESDAY

4.  mani and pedi at 2 pm!

5. get to see my YS tomorrow!  his request:  "help me obi-mom-kenobi, you're my only hope" left me laughing.....

Good for you for fighting the carb demons!!  It's tough, I know.  I've done okay, myself.  I did indulge in some nsa coffee/caramel swirl ice cream last night (for colonic purging).  Didn't work.  I see some Hershey's s/f chocolate in my weekend!!!

Looking forward to seeing the new outfit.  The legs.....well, let's just say, I won't be feeling them, but if you're happy, I'm happy!

I would LOVE for the bosses to tell me to take the rest of the day, but I'll hold my breath.

So where IS the YS?  I can't keep up with everyone's family!!  LOL!!

i will tell you the waxing story later... suffice it to say the dogs almost got waxed... we had to banish them...

YS will be in for the weekend.  he lives in Philly.  at least for 2 more weeks.  he graduates Drexel on June 13th!  it's been a long 5 years...

as for half a day... that's what leave is for!

Wellllllll..........that would end the shedding issue!!  Theirs, not yours.

Oh, okay, gotcha, I can't keep up with everyone's kids!!!  Very cool on the graduation!!!

I know, I know, and you know I have TONS of leave, but having just been off with Dad, and then taking two weeks in July - I just don't wanna pu**** right now.

waxing ... ah hurts just thinking about it. I love my epilator.

Epilator?  Spill, Sylvie!!  I remember when the Epilady came out - the stories of the pain were frightening!!!

I love it, the hair that comes back is so fine that you barely see it and I can go much longer without doing anything to my legs. And I ahve dark ahir so that says something.

The first time, it probably hurt the most, now it's a very slight stinging at the beginning and it goes away. I even use that as seen on tv Emjoi Tweeze for upper lip hair removal.

and see i think that would hurt more.

waxing underarms hurts the worst.  legs are a cakewalk.  i have hardly any hair there.

Glad you are feeling good Nessa. Like we said yesterday, there are times when you just feel good in your clothes and the way you present yourself. Enjoy that new outfit and feeling good!
