No DS for me
I'm not a fan of Franklin Square, so my opinion would be biased.
He can't be the only one who does DS. Or try looking into VSG if you don't want the full RNY. I'm trying to get the VSG right now and going through hell with getting approved, but it will be worth it. I'm not going down without a fight! lol

Well a little better news, My endo is giving me my stuff for Dr Averbach, so guess what, it will be super easy to make copies, AND, my PCP DOES have the notes from my endo. I am still giong to talk to Dr Averbach Friday, and Vanguri next tuesday. I was planning on talking to both anyway, I had an appt with Dr Averbach before I had with Dr Vanguri. I'll let you all know what happens.
Thanks for your support and kind words.

Good Luck!
I love Dr. A!! He gave me what I needed to hear when I only lost 3 pounds in two weeks, I was so glad to hear I was "normal" and not just stalled forever or something. Rationally I knew it, but hearing HIM say it made it okay... Now if I could just break the stall - I need to go weigh in tomorrow... and cross my fingers that it passed!

BTW, I don't know how informed/educated your wife is on these procedures, but it might not be a bad idea for her to go to the info sessions/support group with you. Sometimes, family members are apprehensive, and if she is, that will help tremendously.
Hugs,
Tia
