teeth issues

are any of you having issues with your teeth post op? I had bad teeth to start with, BUT,I am now on my 3rd root canal since surgery.

Oh, D, I could write a book, "My Life in the Dental Chair!"  I feel your pain!  Fortunately, I have two great dentists, so financially, it's more painful than anything else.

I didn't have "bad" teeth pre-op, just very "soft" teeth that crumbled easily.  I brush 3 times a day, floss, etc., and post-op, I'm not even sure I can TELL you how much work I've had done.  Let's just say that I had to clear out a good portion of my 401K to help!!

Post-op, I guess it could be coincidence, it could be from a lack of Vitamin D, who knows?  Does your surgeon or dentist have any words of wisdom for you?

I'm REALLY sorry I couldn't make it on Sunday.  I have to say, though, my family enjoyed the berries and dip!!!  Did you have a nice time?

If we can try to get together, which is better for you and Misty?  Friday?  Sunday?

Interesting question, Diane. I have been wondering the same thing. I too have always had teeth that are prone to issues. But it feels like the degree of major issues has gone up post op. I don't know if this is something that was going to happen anyway. or if there is some deficiency that could be contributing. I have it on my list of things to ask during my next post-op follow up.

Knock on wood.  No teeth problems yet.  But if I do and the dentist wants to do a root canel-  forget it.  My wife had one 3 yrs ago and still has problems with it.  I told her the dentist did'nt get all the roots and she should find another one.  Not her.  Still thinks the people in white are at a higher level then us and are all knowing.  I had a tooth pulled and bridged no root canel here.
