3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. The scale is moving downward relatively quickly - about a pound a day for the last 3 days. HOWEVER, I can (but hopefully won't) blow that in one day. I've noticed that I can seemingly lose weight pretty quickly during the week because I've such a structured routine (Nutter Butters notwithstanding), but if a bad weekend comes along, then look out!!!! I'm trying!!
2. Mom continues to have a good time - they've now moved onto Myrtle Beach today, and will start winding their way back north on Friday. I really miss her - and Happy must, too - it appears she's on a hunger strike!! I'm sure she'll be Happy to have Mom back because no one's feeding her licorice!!

3. I've found a couple good, easy recipes that I'm going to try out on my guinea pigs this weekend. I LOVE to experiment - especially with dishes that are easy on my time and my wallet!!
Have a great day!
Tia
Morning Ness!!!
All 3 good things!!! I couldn't live without #1 and #3!!!
I actually don't do much cottage cheese, although I like it - I LOVE it mixed with pineapple, though!!! I usually buy the 1% - maybe I'm just used to it, but I can't really tell the difference.
I actually have two good recipes for cottage cheese if you're interested!!
Hugs,
T
i can eat the 1% or the fat free even, but the breakstone 2% is my OS favorite (when he was about 2 I tried to put a different cottage cheese in the old container and he TOLD ME, this isn't the right stuff mom, didn't try that again)....
AND it comes in 4 oz sizes... perfect for breakfast or a snack... (of course after WLS it will be too much for me for a while)....
I am practicing eating it slowly and chewing it. I've never actually chewed cottage cheese before.
1. I figured out a temporary solution out of the mess I'm in with the C I got for HR.
2. Services Marketing is being offered this summer - as an online only class WHOOT WHOOT! Now I just got to get registered for that class. As much as I would hate a marketing career, I like it as an academic class! Here's to an easy A to bring back up my GPA!
3. Sylvie is a tremendous help, and I will be checking persistently - I would LOVE to work at BB&B! Even if it's only the weekends, although I hope for more than just weekends.
4. Leftover Tacos - they made a great salad for lunch yesterday. I'd been skipping breakfast and lunch - having half of each protein bullet. I still have them because I never gave them away - and because money is extremely tight in the house. So that was a blessing in disguise for me!
5. My piggy bank got me lunch money from the Coinstar this morning!
6. It's another beautiful day today! A tad chilly - and that's another OMG moment. Since when did I ever complain about chilliness? I used to be hot all the time. Well, my hubby tells me I'm a hot thang so let me rephrase that to feeling hot as in uncomfortably warm. Now, I'm chilled a bit here and there. Oh wait a minute.....(getting up from chair)....(checking for ice pack)....(sitting back down)....LOL
Everyone, have a wonderful day! I'll try to be around today - I have a PowerPoint to design for a friend of mine.
Hi honey!!!
Wish I could help you out with the $ issue - seems to be a common theme amongst us, sadly. Please try NOT to skip meals - it's really important since you're such a newbie.
I'm amazed that, as you said, you always have a Plan B. I hope the job comes through. Crossing my fingers for you!! Here's a hint - MOST Coinstars charge you to count your change - count it and wrap it yourself and if you can't take it to a bank, take it to your local Dunkin Donuts - the one by me will buy change.
Of course you're hot!!!! MUAH!!
T
I agree! This weekend can't come fast enough!
Congrats on the pounds, Tia! I can more than empathize about the week structure and the weekend dangers! I have been dealing with that for a while. I am hoping to get out more this weekend That should help me. I know Sunday I am going to join my nephew and his fiance for a hike at Loch Raven. Exercise and a chance to spend time with them - Yeah!
Today I am grateful for...
1 - A great workout last night. I know I am repetitive. But I always feel so good after a night of pool exercise. Our trainer was in top form and really pushed us last night. There was a major focus on inner thighs - one of my favs, as well as one of the most challenging.
2 - Not stressing out last night. Although I still have a lot of work on my plate, I had a good day yesterday and felt comfortable leaving the continuation for today. So often, I feel -pressure to get some more done before I can sleep. I think I actually slept better last night. Although, I still did not want to wake up this AM - LOL!
3 - I asked off for 2 Fridays in June so that my plans for those weekends will flow better. Looks like that is not a problem - Yeah!
P.S. Thanks for the message, Darla!
Have a super day!
Debbie
Morning Debbie!!!
You know, while I'm happy about the weight coming off - I'm also disgusted with myself (I know you relate). If I just kept my mind focused and my eye on the ball, I could DO this!!! S I G H. And you know it's easier for me to support you guys as opposed to myself!!
I hope Sunday's weather is beautiful for you!! And way to go on getting those Fridays!! I can't wait till the end of June!!
I'm stressing even more now, too. My brother just called and said his cellulitis is flaring up - and we ALL know, from listening to Aaron, that it's nothing to mess around with. He FINALLY listened to me and has a call into the doctor. He's deathly afraid to take off of work, and frankly, the USPS doesn't really care about its employees, so I'm hoping they'll either call something in for him or he can see them later tonight. I swear it never ends!!!
Hugs,
T
And, I am very happy to be able to help :-) Sorry for the whole confusion about sugar free candy last night lol wait while I try to sell you some.
