Thangs for Toosday!

Morning all.  Things I am grateful for:

1. That I was able to roll out of bed and scoot into work today.

2. For pain killers.  I have a terrible headache.  Hope it is not a migraine trying to come on. 

3. For the fact that it  is still quiet so far.   If it starts to pick up I might have to go home and get in the bed.

hey, I know Bed Bath and Beyond at Arundel Mills needs people with weekend availability. I work there an dI know they've had trouble finding people. did you fill out an ap there?

I checked their website yesterday and it looked as though they were only looking for store managers.  I don't have the luxury of working crazy hours that are expected of managers...I just wanted to be the little guy who makes sure all products are facing the same way - as if I had Aspergers Syndrome.

I couldn't find a job application to fill out online - do they have them at the store?  IFf so I can swing by and grab one this afternoon.  Thanks for the heads up!

So far, I applied to UPS, Bath & Body Works (in 3 locations - Severna Park, AA Mills, and Marley Station, FYE Entertainment, Marriott, Petco, Petsmart, Michaels (in 2 locations, GB and AA Mills), Shoppers Food Warehouse, Sears so far.

Candy you might check out snagajob.com to see who's hiring but I would not use that site to apply. They told me I was NOT qualified to work at Kohl's. LOL. BUT I went in, personally submitted my application to the hiring manager and was hired within a few weeks and they LOVED me.  I swear by always looking nice and applying in person when at all possible.  They will remember you more than if you apply online.

Congrats on the As Candy!  I'll keep my fingers crossed that the C can become a B so that you don't have to pay the company back for the class!

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  That my step-daughter seems to be on the right track with getting her life together.

2.  To see the sun, even though it's FREEZING in my office!

3.  For the scale going down again this morning after no downward motion for almost three weeks!  PHEW!!

BTW, sadly, my brother already found out he HAS to work his day off on Saturday.  If MOTY does, too, we'll have to reschedule.  I told her to let me know as soon as she finds out.  Well...I told her after I clued her in that Monday's a holiday, therefore Saturday is the "day before the holiday," and they can force her to work.  *shaking my head*  I'll let you know as soon as I know!!

Lisa-  that only 9 month things scares the crap out of me!!!  I am a little over 4 months out and have far to go!  :(

Today I'm grateful for:

1.  I get to pick up my  new camper this afternoon!  I'm buying a pop-up camper!  :)

2.  Tea-  I love tea!  :)

3.  strawberries!  LOL

Congrats on the new camper. We have a 5th wheel and camping is a blessing and the best form of peace I have ever experinced.. ENJOY !!!
