He scares me a little too!  LOL

But, he can't take our surgeries away!  He's already given them to us!

Thank heaven!!! I know he just wants us to do our best and he has to push us, or else some of us will be back to where we were before surgery.

2.  For friends who understand when I cancel at the last minute :  of course they did
that to me the night before so I guess turn about is fair play LOL

3.  For my family and friends

4.  that I am over my fear of Dr's LOL preop I never went - postop I'm better-
good because I need to check out what is wrong with my shoulder-  Thanks
Deb for the recommendation. update appt 5/26 3:30 pm

5.  For my Dad: I mentioned that my bloodwork showed I was very anemic:
he went to Rite Aid yesterday and came home and said :  I talked to the
pharmacist and she said these will help. Nature Made Iron supplement.

Morning Darla!!

Actually, the guys at the shop were decent - they even rode WITH me in the event it happened when we were out.  They didn't want me to think THEY were crazy!

Your Dad's a sweetie!! However, you might (after this bottle of iron runs out), check into Vitron-C - it's iron with Vitamin C, which helps us absorb the iron better.  DVR suggested this to me when I became anemic.  It helped a lot!

Have a great day!

Hugs,

T

Actually he did do really Good:  I read the label last night and it also has 100% daily requirement
of vitamin C .  I think the pharmacist knows me too and suggested this knowing I'd had RNY.

Good Morning Tia and Marylanders.  Today I grateful for:

1. Getting up in a great mood.

2.  That I made it through the weekend without choking my wonderful daughter that wanted to try my patients.

3.  That I paid my last car note for a while (finally paid it off)

4. That I was able to get a new computer (laptop) since mines had water spilled on it last week and it would hnot longer turn on.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Your daughter and my KB must've had some of the same 'tude this weekend!!!  Trying my patience is an understatement!!!

Woo-hoo to the car being paid off!!  What a feeling, huh?

Your new computer make me remember that I forgot a #4 - I got a new computer!!!!!  The whole desktop package - I'm so excited!!!  My brother's gonna hook it up for me sometime this week and hopefully, I'll be able to get Comcast out to get high-speed!!  No more dial-up for me!!!!  Isn't it amazing how dependent we've become on computers??

Have a great day!

Good Morning Everyone!

Mercedes - Congrats on paying off the car - That is a wonderful feelings!

Darla - glad you got some rest this weekend. I did on Saturday as well.

Tia - Car problems are so frustrating and they seem to take so much of our valuable time. Yet, we are so limited without them, that we have to deal with it. Here's hoping that the answer is found soon!

This weekend, I did not work as much as I should have and took the time for me. Of course, that means I really have to bear down hard this week to make up for it. I had a lot of fun yesterday at the CCBC Community College Theater. They did a terrific job putting on a performance of the Full Monty! The whole thing was hysterical. I needed and got lots of laughs!

Today,

1 - That I managed to get up early and out of the house early too. I was already at work by 6:30AM. Which reminds me, I need to get back to work......

2 - For friends, family, and laughter.

3 - I am looking forward to the upcoming holiday weekend. But until then, have a super day!

Morning Deb!!

I'm proud of you for taking the time for yourself!!!  That's definitely something you need to work on!  I know, I'm a good one to talk!

I've never been to a CCBC production, but my aunt's ex-husband is one of the theater directors at Dundalk, and I've heard that their productions are first rate!

Me, too!  I am SO looking forward to this weekend!  Crossing my fingers - both my brother and his ex are SUPPOSED to be off!!!  A potential kid-free weekend!!  WOO-HOO!!!!!

Don't kill yourself today, please!!
