3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!

Good morning!!  Well, thanks to my car (GRRR!), I had an extra long weekend.  Rest?  No way!!  But I did get tons of stuff done!!  Sadly, my car decided it was going to act up and strand me on 695 yesterday when I was out picking up strawberries to take to Dianne's potluck.  I waited a bit for AAA to get the car and my brother to pick me up, because Dad was sick at home.  SIGH.  It never ends.  Of course, once again, Pep Boys couldn't find the source of the problem, and it didn't act up this a.m., so I'm thinking I might have to take it to the dealer.  ICK!!  Anyway, today I'm grateful for:

1.  That KB are both still alive after plucking my last nerve on Saturday.  All day, constantly messing with each other!!  I was glad to go home Saturday night - and I don't usually say that about them.

2.  For wls - I had so much stuff to do this weekend, and although I was tired when I got it all done, I was frankly amazed at my ability to do it and still be upright!

3.  Jergen's self tanner/moisturizer foam - This stuff rocks and dries instantly!!!

Have a great day!!

My 3 things:

1.  An amazing weekend.  Not only did I get to go on a field trip on Friday, with my Grandson Larry (6), but we all went to Busch Gardens on Saturday.  It was amazing.  We were there for every minute that the park was open and I didn't have to even sit and rest any part of the day.

2.  I fit on the rides with no problem.  How amazing is that?  My grand daughter even got me on Alpengeist.  OMG, upside down, sideways, through tunnels.  What was I thinking.

3.  Today is my 1 year appointment with my surgeon and while I am not at my goal, I'm hoping that he will be happy with my progress.  Or at least hope he doesn't scream at me!!  Ha, Ha!!!

Lisa -

What a wonderful gift you've given not only yourself, but those GBs, too!  K & I are headed to Washington, D.C. next Friday, and like you, I would've had to constantly sit and rest.  Hopefully, this time will be different!

I would LOOOOOVE to see pics of you on those rides!!!!  LOL!!!

I'll tell you the same thing I told Aaron, hit Dr. K on the head for me if he says one thing about you not "reaching goal"!!!

Hugs,

T

Hope you and K have a great time!

I do have a couple of pics, but since I'm usually the photographer, most of them are of the kids.  I'll try to post.

As far as Dr. K.  He is a tough one.  I will go in holding my head high.  Hopefully I will come out that way also.

I respect that Dr. K is tough - that's why his patients are successful.  However, I would hate to see ANYONE diminish your success!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE think as much of yourself and your accomplishments as we do, and come out holding your head high!!
