Brian's last test today

I did not have that much trouble with the upper GI! Good luck Brian. You are getting closer and closer!

Good Luck to Brian...sure am glad I didn't have to do that! 

He's DONE!  he called at 9:15. he said it was the nastiest stuff he ever had to drink.  He brought fluid and food with him and he's on his way home.

he only needs a chest xray now and that is it.

By the way, that stuff tastes good compared to the stuff you have to drink for the swallow test post-op.

oh that's comforting.

Fortunately fo me, a nurse was right there and gave me an anti-nausea shot and that got me through it. My reaction was about 30-45 minutes after the test.

I do NOT do Nausea well...   ugh.

oh yeah!!!  that liquid contrast stuff is NASTY!!!!!  about 30 minutes later i was dry heaving into a trash can....that's when mom and dad ran out for the nurse to give me some anti-nausea meds......the crappy part was that the liquid contrast was just stuck there with nowhere to go.....UGH!

Nessa..glad he got this over with and done. You guys are getting closer now!  Trust me Marty was a big baby and whined through most of the stuff but he wanted to do this so he did it. Many times I told him just dont get it done and that made him more determined. lol. Today he says now he's glad he did and its all done and over with. He said the swallow test on Wed sucked but he got through it too.
