Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  It's Friday!

2.  My hubby bought me my own xbox last night so we don't have to fight over the xbox and can play online together!

3.  Leaving early today to go shopping with mom.  (Xbox purchase put me too poor to actually do any shopping, but it will be fun to go with my mom!)

4.  (It's such a good day, I'm doing a fourth!)  MY scale moved AGAIN!  I have now lost 79 lbs!  I tried on Large scrubs at work today and they looked good.  A little tight in the butt.  :)

Have a great day everyone.

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!

Good morning all....

Darla Im glad you got things off your chest...it really helps to be able to vent sometimes.

Tia...you poor girl. Hope  your car gets fixed and it doesnt cost you a fortune.

(((((Julie)))) Im sorry about your mom. I took care of my father in law until he died and he had dementia. Its very frustrating but for me it was very rewarding because he opened up and talked to me a lot about the abuse in his life and showed me a side of him I never knew. Try to hang in there.

Angie so glad your sis didn't get hurt. That had to be terrifying.

Ok here are my 3 for today.

1.  Marty is doing tremendously better, just like you all said he would be. Thanks moms...

2.  I got my new dump sticker so I can stop worrying about having to go get that. Its the little things.

3. My pool is starting to turn a shade of blue when just 1-2 days ago it was ......well lets just say it wasnt fit for animals. My darn cover got tore up this year from the snow and it turned my pool to muck. I think it will be done by this weekend though.

4.  Its Friday. I still have to work this weekend but thankfully I work from home so no biggie.

5.  Ok one more. Marty told me definitely not to cancel my surgery because he feels 100% better and said he definitely can handle it. YES IM NERVOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mellie, I am so glad that Marty is doing better every day. Everyone recovers at a different pace, I am glad he is one of the quick ones. It is natural to be nervous. You have the best support system in the world with Marty by your side. Going through the process together is terrific! Of course, we will all be here for you too!

Debbie thank you. But im still nervous and its not going away. Marty keeps asking me "are you ready?" I think thats making me more nervous. Im ready but im not if that makes sense.

Mellie Thanks so much for understanding I feel so alone. I wish this wasnt happening it hurts so bad..... My mom was my true friend now I have just a empty shell.. I wish she could tell me  things but I dont think that will happen. I cant give up hope. Bless your heart its so hard being a caregiver. Your Father in Law was lucky to have you.. What a great daughter in law.... Thanks for your kind words and support....

I am glad your hubby is doing better. Glad for the dump sticker and glad to hear your pool is clearing up too... You will do fine in surgery and if you were not nervous you would not be normal....

                                                                                                        Hugs,

                                                                                                               Julie
