Hey everyone!!
Thank you SO much for the posts, calls, texts, emails and PMs regarding Dad's surgery. Special thanks to Darla for posting for me.
As Darla stated, everything went REALLY well - in fact, he was back before they'd said he would be. He made it back to his room while Mom and I were busy yakking with the one and only Blue Hen Ellen!!! She's the best!!! Took time out of her busy day to sit with us and reassure us. They were able to open and restent one of the kidney arteries and his blood pressure was showing immediate improvement.
I could tell Dad was feeling pretty good because he was grumpy because he was going to have to room with someone. Sigh. But I'll take that over the alternative.
Barring any complications, it looks like Dad will be coming home tomorrow. I'll take KB to school in the a.m., then go to work and await Dad's pick-up call. So I'll post as soon as I'm able once I get to work.

I am so sorry that I didn't Dad was having surgery. I has been crazy busy for and I am sorry I have not been in touch of late. I am glad Dad is doing good and I pray he gets to come home tomorrow and recover quickly. My love to you and Mom and Happy Belated Mother's to you and Mom.
