Tia so glad everything is looking up for your Dad. I know how it is to be at hospital with no one. I have ran into so many lonely people while waiting on people at hospitals. My motto is never try and let anyone go alone for anything and if you run into someone alone reach out to them. We never know when the table could be turned. Take care and I hope things will go well for your Dad today...

Today I am thankful for...

1) My Mom woke up today and knew who I was after not knowing me for 2 days..

2) I am happy that the sun is out and I don't see any rain....

3) I am thankful that my seat belt extender is coming in today or tomorrow...

4) I am feeling good since several people I have not seen in months said this weekend they can tell I have lost weight...

5) Thankful for my oh friends and my family...

                        HAVE A GREAT DAY....

Morning!

Tia - continued good thoughts for your Dad that he's able to come home today!

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  That the sun is shining today and is supposed to be tomorrow as well!  LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

2.  That my windshield was able to be repaired and thus it cost me nothing out of pocket!  LOVE THAT!

3.  That my home visit for Boxer Rescue went well last night and I got to meet a super cute boxer named Daisy whom is looking forward to having a brother or sister.

Have a great day all!
Heather

There was a beautiful boxer at the animal rescue when I went a few weeks ago!  I wanted her so bad, but I was worried she would jump my fence.  My  husband's dog is a german shephard/rotty mix and can jump our fence, so he's chained up when he goes out.  I don't have room for another chain.  :(

I have a four foot fence around my yard and my boxers don't jump it.  Well, my youngest did once but I don't think it was intentional and he's never done it again.  You can also get a no jump halter, such as the one here:  http://www.morrco.com/nojumpharness.html.  That will prevent them from being able to jump but they can still walk and run without issue.

My fence is 3 foot.  I'm not sure my hubby's dog could jump it now.  He's got the hip problems that German Shephards get.  :(  But, we are right on a busy road and I wouldn't risk it.  I might try one of those halters.  They are a good idea!  Thanks!

Totally better safe than sorry.  I would be super freaked out with just a 3-foot fence, but I'm paranoid like that!

I'm glad things are going well for everyone.  :)

My scale still isn't budging, but I've figured out the problem.  Yesterday, I ate 530 calories (I can't eat anymore!)  and exercised at the gym for 401 calories (I normally do more!).  That doesn't include that I spent all day yesterday at work scrubbing all the rooms.  I'm a little sore.  :)  I'm happy with what I'm eating so I think I will just wait (weight...  haha) it out!  It will have to switch up soon!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  Coco truffle tea-  YUM!

2.  That my family is doing well in this economy.  I bought some new rainboots online yesterday.  They have skulls and crossed swords.  :)  Piratey!

3.  Good insurance that when everything is said and done, my surgery cost me one $25 co-pay!  $25 is not much to change my life.  I haven't made it to 100 lbs lost or size 16 (my personal goals) but, I've lost 77 lbs and am comfortable in a size 18.  I have been this size since I was 18!  :)  And I have confidence that I'm not done losing, I just have to wait for it! :)
