UGH, STILL Waiting!

I completed all of MY criteria for surgery back on April 15th. That is when Dr. S's office got all of my paperwork.  It is now May 11th and my insurance company still has no record of my paperwork being sent to them.  I emailed the dr's office last week and they said they'd "take care of what is necessary".   What is so hard about faxing paperwork???  I emailed them again today. I'm not happy. I'm ready to get this new chapter in my life started. I'm growing impatient!


Okay, I feel better now. Sheesh, needed to vent.

my biggest fear... that the paperwork will take forever... bad enough i've been at this since January trying to get it all done... now it's all on my head.

I would call the insurance company again and see if they have what they need:
If not email/call/ fax the Dr's office to death until they do what they are supposed to do!

    Hang in there---I am right there with you---I just want to feel like I am making progress again---I have done every thing they have asked of me and more---but I am still waiting---It sucks---Try not to let it drive you crazy!

I am frustrated too. I got a denial letter....was missing some paperwork. I thought the insurance coordinator looked into everything to make sure it was in order before being faxed. I jumped thru some more hoops and the missing items have been faxed along with a letter to appeal. I called my Doctors office yesterday and they said the insurance company (Cigna) has 30 days to answer the appeal. Urgh...I am like you..I just want to get this started and start the new chapter in my life! Good luck to you...keep me posted.

Apparently my BCBS's fax was out of toner when my paperwork was sent.   So, they sent it again and this time got confirmation that it got there.  We'll see!
