I can't get the protein drinks down

You can get them at Vitamin shoppe or GNC if you want to try the different Flvr
without buying a whole case: My personal favorite was the grape!
Please don't buy a lot. I bought a bunch of the Profect bullets. Gagged on just about every one and threw a bunch of money away. They are definitely an acquired taste. I used the SlimFast Carb Control Milk Chocolate, Dutch Chocolate and French Vanilla. I also used Myoplex and EAS AdvantEdge. The biggest improvement for any of those shakes is to have them pre-chilled and still pour them over ice.
You can also get some powdered protein (GNC has one that says "virtually tasteless" that isn't too bad). There are all kinds of recipes to make your own. I made them with all flavors of extract in the beginning, then started adding fruit, cocoa. Sloane had a bunch of recipes in her book. If you'd like to try this and need some recipes, PM me. I'll scan some of them in and send them to you.

It does NOT taste like a protein powder or smell like one. I got the strawberry and am having no problems with it. I am also out 1.5 years so maybe the taste buds have changed. But, alst month, I'd gotten the Bariatric Advantage one and I had to give it away (I hope MoeMoe is enjoying it).
Syntrax Nectar. Nectar is so darn good I actually craved it after the first time I had it. They have lots of flavors that are more like juice than the traditional shake. I LOVE the roadside lemonade. They also have iced tea, twisted cherry (yummy), strawberry kiwi, and many more. Most of them are really delicious. They recently had a deal where you could get 10 full size samples delivered to your door for 9.99. I think the website was www.si03.com (that is a zero not an O before the 3).
I've also gotten very good at adding like a 1/2 scoop of vanilla (I use Body Fortress at Walmart--cheap, no protein aftertaste, 26g per scoop) in a cup of tea or sugar free international coffee or sugar free hot chocolate and it is virtually undetectable. If you need info on how to mix it so it doesn't clump just let me know.
I'm not a huge fan of the ready made, but Slim fast has a high protein one (20g) that goes down pretty well--a little cinnamon flavor.
Good luck!
