They had it up on one of the overhead signs on 50 West before the Bay Bridge this morning. I would not have known otherwise, but it's an automatic action for me when I get in the car anyways!

They make seatbelt extenders. Call your local dealer and see what you need to do about getting one. Your life is worth it!!!

and I checked the internet: can get one that fits most cars for $20.00 less then the cost of the ticket by the way.

Thank you Darla. I will look into getting one asap.. I worry about this all the time... I have an Isuzu and I called them months ago and they said to try on line or come in and one of the mechanics would measure me. I dint think so that's way to embarrassing for me....Julie

Yep they caught me dead to rights. When the officer asked me if there was a reason I wasn't wearing my seatbelt I said ; " YES STUPIDITY"

Julie Maybe you can try to get an extension for you seatbelt. A ticket is the last things any of us needs.
