Oh Angie you must be so frustrated, you could have been almost to the end if you had started in December. I second everything Tia and Darla said. Now that you know what has to be done get on top of it now and it will really fly by. Just make sure you keep copies of everything coming and going.

OH how FRUSTRATING!   I would be sooo pissed!  Make sure that you get copies of everything in writing.  Your insurance company should be able to send you your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) containing what they e-mailed you.  So sorry you have to go through this!!!

OMG I would be so pissed!!!!!  I feel so bad for you. I know you were ready to get this thing moving and now it looks like it might be another 6 months out.

John's Hopkins offers nutrition classes, which I believe falls under both "behavioral therapy and medical visits" because they take your weight each month.  Going there might be a pain though, since you're up in Westminster.

I know this is a setback, but please don't let it discourage you.  In the grand scheme, 6 more months isn't that long (although like I said, I'd be pissed too!). Just don't give up!

The way it's going with my own paperwork being submitted is ******g me off too. I can't seem to get any answers. Whoever I try to call, I always have to leave a damn message or email. Then they never respond. UGH.

This whole process is annoying to say the least, but you have to aim for that final goal.

As far as you not getting a response - is it from Teresa or 'everyone?'  I've heard that if you email Teresa, it's best to cc. Christine and Dr. S. too.  I think Christine is head of his bariatrics or something.  If you need their emails let me know.

It's $35 per session/month. Kind of expensive, but at least you know it's all done in the same place and it's what they're looking for.


What is Christine's email address?  I'll do that next.
