3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Today is my Dad's 67th bday, and despite his best efforts, he's still kicking!! I've never met someone who's as good at NOT taking care of himself as my Dad. But he's been a good Dad and would do anything for his family - even when he's making me feel like beating my head against the wall!! Here's hoping that next week's procedure will go well and I'll have him around to frustrate me for many more years to come.
2. My brilliant, beautiful K - She was SO excited yesterday when she got into the car and immediately showed me a letter she got recommending her for acceptance into the National Junior Honor Society!!! In the 7th grade, she carries a GPA of over 3.53, and has to submit an essay and two letters of recommendations from teachers, but even if she's NOT accepted, she recognizes what an honor it already is. This from a child who steps OVER piles of clothes and then says, "I didn't see them"! She is smart flipping smart it's scary.
3. Pain meds - Actually, I should have a question mark beside that, because I'm STILL in a little pain and one of the teeth I had worked on last week is STILL very sensitive. I'm hoping it doesn't mean more work on that tooth when I go in on Friday for two more crown preps. I think I've been pretty patient so far, but I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Tia
2. congrats to K!
3. I've had that teeth thing before.... not good. ugh.
well it's like living in Seattle or something with all this drearyness
today i am grateful for:
1. lunch with the girls
2. half a day of work
3. a daughter that will get up early to feed and put out the dogs so I can get to work early!
Morning Nessa!! Thanks, on behalf of Dad - that's nice of you to say! Unfortunately, I inherited his very short fuse and quick temper!! Hopefully, my Mom's easygoing ways have countered that! lol
I'm just astonished at how smart K is - smarter than many adults I know! Thanks for her, too!
Looking forward to seeing you and lunch and hearing ALL about your visit with DVR!
See you at 12!!!
Hugs,
Tia
Tia: Wish your Dad a happy birthday for me!!!
And Congrats to K--- what an Honor
1. That it was not raining during my Morning outing with Cuddles: I still
had to dry her paws when we came in but for once I didn't get wet!!!
2. For getting the chance to help a friend yesterday!
3. For my little Furbaby: she just wanted to Cuddle this morning : I ended up
singing You are my sunshine to her and when I finished she rolled over and wanted
a belly rub: Gosh I love my Cuddles
So have a good day everyone! and SMILE

Thank you for your kind words, Julie!!
I'm glad you're getting some "real life" info from other members. OH, and in particular, the Maryland Board, is a great source of info.
Kiss your hubby and say, "Thanks, love!" People around us will ALWAYS see the weight loss before we do. It's a nasty trick our mirrors play on us!!
Have a great day!
Tia
