Were you inpatient or outpatient?

That very well could be it.  If you look at the packaging on items containing sugar alcohols, it says, "Excessive consumption MAY cause a laxative effect."

Trust me, they're NOT lying.

I had Dr. Singh too!


I stayed in the hospital three days.  I have never heard of someone going home the same day. That seems kinda absurd to me.

But Mellie's having lap-band and you (and I) had RNY - that makes ALL the difference in a hospital stay - hence the "23 hours."

Wow 3 days?!? Was it from complications? I can't imagine staying that long.

I didn't look to see you are Lap-Band. I am RNY. Maybe that's why.

ooops, I didn't see this before I posted my thread.  I'm wondering, those who had VSG was it inpatient or outpatient? I need to know so I can tell BCBS so they can look in the right place for my paperwork.
