I really wanted to. But I am going to my classes at the gym tonight instead. If I were to go, I would have wanted to work out tomorrow night, but I have other plans for Wednesday. I do not want to miss 2 nights in a row at the gym. So the gym wins for me tonight.

I really enjoy the support groups and find them extremely helpful. What is Brian's argument about the groups?

he doesn't feel he needs a support group. he feels he's motivated enough.

he's a pain in the tushy is what he is.

Support group is not just about motivation, it is also information sharing. Sometimes we don't know what we don't know. I picked up so many ideas and helpful hints that I found it invaluable pre-op. I also love it post op. I just wi**** was not on Tuesdays.

he is being so damn difficult about this.  whines about every test... says  'well NO ONE ELSE had to have all these tests'... and I KNOW t hat's not true...

and maybe someone can tell him a bagel and cream cheese is NOT a good breakfast....

LOL - I am glad he's yours and not mine! Just kidding of course. It will be interesting to see if his tune changes later after the miracles start happening . I wonder if he will see things differently.

some days i'm ready to sell him!

it's really really hard his boss is a patient of DVR and when i met her in 2003 she was at her peak of thinness... but she is so not a good example of what to do.

and she tells him   "well i didn't have to have a sleep study, and i didn't have to have pulmonary tests and I didn't have to have all these tests"

and i don't know who i want to kill more HER or him.

I hear you,. I know you have already explained that this is an evolving science and more has been learned as to what is best to ensure the best possible outcome.

till I am blue in the face... I explained that having all the tests and getting the CPAP will ensure that he has a successful surgery. I remind him that he stopped breathing on the table for his GB surgery last year...

ugh.  it's hard enough to be doing my stuff...  tomorrow i could be ready for last meeting with DVR and yet he's not even done his testing and HE WHINES.

I want to be single.... ugh.

Nessa do you really think that his boss didnt have any tests? That seems so dangerous for a doc to do surgery without tests.. Well who knows I wish you luck with your hubby.. Men are stubborn and are set in their ways.. I hope you can get some res tand peace before you have your surgery. Take care hope you are well...

Loser's visualize the penalties of failure. Winners visualize the rewards of success.
