POST-OPS!!!! WHAT......
is the hardest thing for you to deal with after wls?
Mine is no drinking during meals (although when I'm eating socially, I find that I DO drink while I eat sometimes!!), and especially the 30 minute after waiting period. I hate, hate, hate it!!!
Other than that, there's really nothing else that's especially hard for me to handle (except beef and chicken!!! lol).
Just thought this might be helpful for the pre-ops reading our board!!

I only have issues with drinking with meals when eating socially. Otherwise, it's pretty much habit now. My hardest thing by far is knowing that I can eat sugar and not dump, I find myself eating it more than I should! However...in no way can I eat it in the quantities and frequency as I did pre-op. Other than that, I HATE to exercise, always have and probably always will. I did very well for the first 8 weeks after surgery and then didn't do much if anything for 3-4 months. I've reintroduced it into my routine a few times a week and hope that I can continue to do so. I'd like to firm up and fill in some of this extra skin!

Hm....it's been smooth sailing for me. I guess it'd be when it's time to get a new fill, when I realize I can Hoover an 8" plate clean. That's happened a couple of times and scares the heck out of me. But I know all is not lost, and all I have to do is call my best friend Dr. Singh and tell him I need a re-fill............Then I'm back to eating gingerly and lightly.
