3 THINGS FOR TGIF!!!
Good morning!!! S I G H. More rain. And chill. Ugh. And....I just lost a temporary crown!! O M G!! No pain, thank goodness, but I'm going to wait until 9 and call the dentist and see when I can get in. I was eating a protein bar, which proves what I've thought all along - good food is bad for you!!! LOL!!! Hopefully, since I'm caught up, they'll just let me take off the rest of the day. We'll see!!!
So today I'm grateful for:
1. That it's Friday. Which means casual Friday....which means I don't have to THINK about what I'm wearing. That's always a blessing.
2. That I'll have some time with just B today. K has a bday party at 4:30 - 4:30? What parent schedules a bday party at 4:30? The kind that want to save money by having it from 4:30 to 6:30 at Skateland!!! MUCH cheaper, but clearly, they're not thinking of the parents who may not have a flexible schedule. We have a bday party every single weekend now it seems. It gets $!!!!
3. I just found out the boss is off the week before I am in July - that means two weeks of no boss!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!!

Another dreary day weather wise: what happened to last weekends weather ???
As far as what kind of parent question : an inconsiderate parent that's who - maybe they were
hoping to save even more $$ due to the fact parents work and can not get their child to the party
at all LOL
anyway here are mine for today
1. Job security :: working 2 shift at the warehouse both days this weekend - I'll have to come
in both days but only 4-5 hours a day : If anyone knows any CDL drivers looking for work
send them my way LOL - we can get warehouse men to cover the work but truck drivers
with legal hours is the biggest problem we are facing.
2. A good nights sleep : have been exhausted this week but could not sleep Thur the night-
Last night I didn't wake at all! I felt so good when I woke up!
3. I was able to change my manicure appointment to tonight so I can work tomorrow
Hey I will make enough O/t to cover the cost of a month and a half of fills -
yes as Tia says am high maintenance

Well, at Skateland, you pay a set price for up to a specific number - so it doesn't matter if 1 or 20 show up, as long as it's under the max - the price is still the same. We do it for K, too, but on a Sunday for 4 hours. Don't even get me started on the whole bday party/rant thing!!!
I'll be working, too, this weekend - 4 hours tomorrow and 4 hours Sunday - but at home. I think we're going to try to take my Dad to dinner on Sunday for his bday, which is Wednesday, because K has band assessment until 9 p.m. Wednesday night and Gary and I have a softball game.
I know you can relate - when I was pre-op, it wouldn't have occurred to me that I could even be as active as I am now, doing all this running, etc. Although I'm always beat at the end of the week, it's a nice feeling!

At least you can do your work at home ; I have to add another 1.5 hours travel time to
my work this weekend plus the gas : but that's OK I have missed a bit of time
lately and felt guilty about that so this will help my guilt complex LOL
Two years ago I worked and went home : on my normal exercise week
I am rarely home before 9:30 3 nights a week. So I am still amazed at the
energy I have normally - this week has sucked but I WILL CHANGE THAT
STARTING MONDAY- and I know Deb will come looking for me if I don't LOL
Its so great having friends who do miss you and check up on you when you go MIA!
Getting ready to be a busy day, but I thought I should make an appearance before you put out an APB on me.
My three things today are:
1. A break in the heat - it'd been considerably hot earlier this week.
2. I am done with one class this semester, although I'm not sure how I did with that class.
3. That it's Friday - it has been a long week!

Your surgery date is fast approaching! I'm sure your emotions are all over the place! It's all normal, believe me.
Oh, you and my mother with those yard sales!! ICK!!! I play chauffeur, and depending upon what type of stuff they have, I SOMETIMES get out and look, but I REALLY don't like looking at other people's junk!! LOL!!

My mood is definitely on an upswing today for so many reasons. I am truly glad it is Friday, although I have so much planned this weekend, I can already see Monday looming! Sigh! Oh well, I am going to enjoy it while it is here anyway!
Oh Tia, sorry about the crown. At least, if you wind up getting the rest of the day off, it has a silver lining!!! Sooo glad there is no pain!
Darla, that is a bummer that you have to work this weekend. I am glad you are getting some pampering in.
Today, I am grateful for....
1 - A good day yesterday, all the way around. I held firm to my plan and had a "liquids only" day yesterday and nothing extra in the evenings. I had a great workout last night. And I had a very productive day at work. Hopefully, this puts me in a position of strength to make it successfully through the weekend!
2 - Time planned with family and friends this weekend. I have dinner plans tonight and a family birthday celebration on Sunday. I am looking forward to both.
3 - My friends and family who are always there to support and encourage me. They make my life so much richer and interesting!
4 - Squeezing in a little splurge and getting a pedicure on Sunday. I can't wait!

I, too, feel like I'll go to sleep tonight and it'll be Monday before I know it!!! Not much we can do about that, unfortunately. UNTIL I win the lottery, that is!!
