I'm going to call BCBS on Monday morning. Hopefully they'll have some news. Even if it's just the news that they have everything they'll need I'll be happy!    I did go the extra mile by getting letters from not only my PCP, but my endocrinologist, and a letter of support from my mom, and I wrote my own personal letter. I also supplied my sleep study results, medical history, etc. In my opinion, they should approve me in a heartbeat!

Prayers are being said, fingers are crossed, and everything will work out. Stop putting the negative energy out there. I know you are anxious,and maybe you should call Dr S's office and see if they will prescribe something that Will help you relax. My Dr wanted me to take a Valium the night before WLS and in the am, I had to be at the hospital between 6:30am and 7:00. Just take care of yourself, and no worries, everything will go smooth. If it makes you feel better to call the office before 14 days, do it, but I would wait at least 5 days   lol  Leslie :)

Seriously, that's awesome. I hope you hear something fast.

They told me he schedules about 6-8 weeks out from insurance approval.

I submitted all of my paperwork to UHC last Saturday and called on Friday and they didn't have it logged in their system yet. they said wait 2wks. I think that is the standard answer. Best of luck to you. Hope we ALL get approved! Let us know. Beth
