THE FEED BAG
So....what's everyone eating? I feel like I'm in a food rut, but actually, I think I'm just waiting for the summer fruits and veggies to come to the local farmer's market. Of course, I can buy all of that stuff in the grocery store, but there's nothing like a Maryland tomato and Eastern Shore corn! And if you can mix the two together in a salad, all the better!
Yesterday:
B - Protein Coffee
S - Cukes w/Greek ranch dip
L - Spinach quiche, watermelon
D - Spinach quiche, roast beef
S - Skinny vanilla latte
All my fluids, all my vits!!
Next!
I hear ya on the rut! I need to clean out my fridge just to see where I am food-wise! Sounds like a chore for this weekend!
Yesterday:
B - greek yogurt/strawberry smoothie
L - ground beef/lentil/tomatoe slop (that's what it looks like)
italian cheese
D - 1/2 bacon cheese quesadilla w/salsa
oreos
LNS - skim milk w/slenda
62 oz. fluids, 60g protein, all my vits.
NEXT!!!
B- Egg Salad with ham
L- Caprese Salad
S- Pistacios
D- Turkey Meatball with Salsa, cheese and lf sour cream (ate about 1/2 a meatball- so not in the mood!)
S- Honey nut cheerios (very small handful- if hubby would stop eating them near me, i'd prolly not eat them!)
75 oz of fluids, all my vits!
B - Hamburger in Sauce
S - Cheese Stick
L - Healthy Choice Wedding Soup
D - 5 Chicken Tenders (frozen and baked)
48 oz fluid, all my vits, 41g protein.
I had great plans for dinner last night that would have gotten my protein in, then a stupid accident on 83 made my commute home over 3 hours, and all went to hell... But I did okay on fluids, got my vits and most of my protein!!

L: crustless pizza with veggie toppings
D: grilled chicken salad
lots of water and decaf ice tea

B: smoothie made w/ chocolate NSA carnation instant breakfast, skim milk, and yogurt
L: (vendors brought us chick fil a lunch).....1/2 grilled chicken cool wrap with 1/2 small fruit cup
S: string cheese & hard boiled egg
D: cheesesteak wrap......3 oz. sirloin steak, 2% cheese, onions, green peppers, light mayo and hoagie spread in a whole wheat wrap with 1/2 cup edamame
S: dinner revisited.....needed more protein! had 2 oz. steak from dinner with cheese and hoagie spread....no wrap
