Hi Lori!!

What type of surgery are you having on your knee?  Here's hoping everything goes smoothly and it brings you relief.

Keep us posted!!!  You know Ren and I are just a stone's throw away if you need anything!

Hugs,

Tia

Tia :

Thanks for the well wishes and I know you and Ren are just a stones throw away. :)

As for the knee surgery It is supposed to be arthroscopic but who knows once they get in there and see the mess.  It is my third arthroscopy and I really wi**** were the total knee replacement that I had fought so hard to get approval for. ( to long a story).   The orthopedist does not want to do the TKR because of my weight and asked me if I had gotten the approval for it yet and my answer was no and that the aproval may take a yr or more depending on appeals or how things go with HR looking into lifing the exclusion or obtaining a rider.   So he says for now we will do the arthriscopy and see what we can we can do.   My concern is the last surgery was only supposed to have taken 45 minutes and wound up taking 3 hours and I was out of work for an entire year. 6 months for recoery and 6 months because my employer had no work for me .

I will do fine no matter what they do and take one day at a time.

Hugs and thanks again for the support
it is greatly appeciated

Morning all,

I want some of this rain of which you all speak...just to wash away this nasty pollen!   We've gotten a few sprinkles here and there but that's it so far!

Tia - congrats to KB on their excellent report cards.  Sorry for your tooth pain...I hope it all gets resolved soon!

Darla - make sure you take a picture of the card, I'd love to see it!

Today I'm grateful...

1.  That Mike's truck is back in the driveway, although it is still as broken down as it was when it left 3 months ago!!!  At least it's back so that it can be fixed properly!  It only cost $150 to have not been fixed!  *sigh*

2.  That I have a job that allows me to work from home when need be and pretty much when I want.  I needed a break from a certain employee and I have a vet appointment for Brie.

3.  Roadside Assistance.  Had to use it for the second time in a week and it's so convenient!

That's it for me...have a good day all!

Awww....sorry to hear you have a touch of the Asian flu!!!

This is just a check-up for Brie Cheeser, right?

Is your vehicle TRYING to give you a nervous breakdown??  Poor you!!!

Yep...it is the Asian Flu!  We need to get it out of the U.S. NOW!

She has an anal polyp that has been sticking out of her little butt.  It hasn't caused her any issues so I've been waiting to take her in until I found out how much the truck was going to cost.

Not for my vehicle...his.  He drove it 10 minutes from the guys house and had fireballs coming out of the tailpipe (his friend was following him) so we had to get it towed home.  He and his friend "think" they figured out what is wrong...something the "retired mechanic" couldn't figure out in 3 months...did I say, THREE MONTHS!!!  Ordered some parts today,so the truck will sit for a while longer and the job hunt is postponed at least that long.  woohoo!!
