Glad I could lighten your morning, Sylvie!!!  I feel lighter, too!

You and Jeff are both very lucky to have each other.  Trust me, in a time when Match.com sends me my own brother as a match (LMAO) and mindless, narcissistic twits, you two seem to have hit the relationship jackpot!!

I'm honored that you felt like you could vent on such a sensitive subject to us!  That's why we're friends!!

Hugs,

Tia

Good morning everyone.  Things that I am thankful for today:

1. Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.  My daughter seems to be in need of all of these nowadays.  Vision has been bad since she was 4 years old.  Medical is not bad but good to have and dental is a lifesaver.  Thay are now thinking after constant running to the dentist office once a week for 3 weeks that she will have to have surgery done on her mouth after she finishes with her ortho work.

2. My job, because I would not have my insurance if it were not for this job.

3. the rain because I need some of this pollen to be washed away.

4. that the rain held off until I made it to work so that traffic would not be bad.

Everyone have a great day.

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!

Hi Mercedes!!

God, I hate to think where any of us would be without insurance!! I have great insurance (I think I paid less than $200 for wls), and a double amen for dental!!!  No wonder my dentist drives a BMW!!!  LOL!!!

I am SO glad I didn't wash my car last night, and instead, let Mother Nature do it!!  Let's hope it's hard enough to actually wa**** away!

Have a good one!!

Tia

Here is a kicker on insurance vs. the BMW...

Dr. A billed $6000 to my insurance for RNY...  The discounted it to pay $1725... Seems a big discount, but I am just glad none of it came from my pocket!!!

I need to try this today...  My mood is down in the dumps!  I'm exhausted and having woman issues!  :(  And I ALWAYS gain weight during my woman issues which doesn't help my over all mood!!!

1.  That i have no plans this weekend.  I'm exhausted and may not leave the house at all.

2.  I have friends that let me vent about everything.

3.  That i've almost made it halfway through this week.

((( JENN )))

I'm sorry, I feel for you - been there, done that.  Unfortunately, post-op, our woman issues can get worse because estrogen is in fat cells and you're losing weight rapidly and all those hormones have to go SOMEWHERE!!!  It's frustrating, but a gyn CAN offer you some relief if it gets really bad.  And don't stress too much, the weight WILL come off.

Tonight's the perfect night for a cup of hot tea and a soft blankie in front of the tv.

Hope you feel better!

Hugs,

Tia

Thanks, Tia!  I would love to have that hot tea, soft blankie and warm chichi in front of the tv right now.  I figured it would be bad for me with all the  hormones.  I was absolutely crazy when I was pregnant.  I was vicious and hateful.  I tortured my brother relentlessly.  It's not bad all the time.  I just really want to sit down and cry today.  I think it's just the hormones and being completely exhausted...

hehe, maybe we should all come to your house :)

woman issues, let me tell you how tired I am of woman issues. Or maybe I won't, you are already tired of them. don't worry, the weight will come down, the issues will leave (at least for another 28 or so days). Sometimes your body just tells you to stay inside and do nothing.
