3 THINGS FOR WEDNESPAY!!

SIGH.  Good RAINY morning again!!!  I'm hoping some of this rain will alleviate any potential drought dangers for our farmers this summer.  I'm sure, for us, it's canceled our softball game tonight - we had a whole lot of that with practices, and I feel bad for the girls *****ally want to play.  Some of them clearly don't want to be there, though, and I feel bad if their parents pushed them into it.  I don't feel like a child should EVER be pushed into participating in a sport or activity - I think it'll just make them resent it (and you).

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  KB got OUTSTANDING report cards again - both all straight A's!!  I usually treat them to an activity or let them buy something, but I (jokingly) told B that he wasn't going to because he whupped me in checkers every single time we played!!!  LOL!!!  He looked at me like, "Yeah, right, Tia!" because he knows better!!!

2.  That this dental work will be finished (hopefully) soon.  One of the teeth awaiting a permanent crown is giving me a fit, very sensitive to bite near and sensitive to cold.  GRR!!

3.  S/f cookies and their colonic cleansing abilities!!!!

Hope everyone has a great day!  Drive safely in the rain!!

Tia

the rain is back. had to close my windows :( oh well.

1. hired a handyman for sunday and looking forward to getting some work done around the house. I wasn't able to find a hot guy but the guy i picked is very sweet and nice :)

2. I still don't have kitties yet but should have something by the end of the week hopefully. The plans keep changing! The life of a furbaby rescuer.

3. Seeing old co-workers haven't seen in years on Saturday. And really looking forward to the aaron meetup w/ you guys. been awhile.

Nic -

The new Nic is gonna bowl the old co-workers over!!!!  I'm hoping to be able to meet up with you guys at NM's, too, I'll just have to wait to see what goes with Dad's surgery.

That's okay - maybe the hot handyman wouldn't have known what to do!!!  LOL!!!  If this guy you hire is good, let me know - we need some painting done!

MORE kitties?!!!  You're a regular kitty-angel!  Thank God there are people like you out there!

Hugs,

T

Good Morning,

Even though I knew it was going to rain today, somehow I did not expect it first thing this AM. There was so much pollen on my back window (and I washed the car on the weekend) that the rain just made it impossible to see. It is raining harder now. Perhaps it will clear it all away before this evening.

Great news on the report cards. School can sometimes add a lot of stress to a family. I am glad KB are doing well, so that there is not that added stress. You have every right to be proud. What a great confidence builder for them. That will help them a lot later in life.

Sorry about the tooth. it is amazing how much anything in the mouth so totally consumes us. The pain is worse, the sensitivities are worse. It is totally distracting. Hopefully you next appointment is not too far off.

I had to giggle at your #3. I have thought about and even done that with some SF products before.

Today, I am grateful for...

1 - A great pool workout last night. There was a lot of focus on the thighs and core, both areas I need to work on, plus a challenging cardio session. I felt much less stressed when I got home.

2 - My family and friends.

3 - My job.

Have a super day!

Morning Debbie!

I thank our lucky stars that KB have virtually no struggles with school, although they both work hard for their grades.  I hear horror stories about homework time, projects, etc., and with the exception of a time or two where I was looking for some obscure ingredient for a project at the last minute, it's been pretty smooth sailing.  WHEW!!!

#3 - Normally, I don't have these "issues," so I'm glad it worked!!  LOL!!!

Here's hoping there's light at the end of your implementation tunnel soon!  You're SO gonna need that beach weekend!

Have a great day,

T

Good Morning Everyone:

Tia-  Congrats to KB for their report cards :  haven't heard from Julie about Jessica's yet
Glad the dental work will be finished soon!

1.  That I see light at the end of the tunnel:  Have an appt on the 13th with my gyn
for the preop test leading to the ablation !!! Yeah me!

2.  that the internet is back on at the house!!!!!

3.  Throwing a baby shower tonight at the bowling alley- yes a strange place for one
but it works :  didn't have to think of a way to surprise her getting her somewhere else LOL
I talked to her husband Friday and he says she has no clue!

4.  For finally crossing some things off my to do list ( 1 & 2)
I know its pathetic but these two have been bugging me for a while and it is a relief
to know they are done!

5.  for my creative Mom:  I told her about needing a card for the baby shower and she
came  up with the idea of  posterboard and cut it in the shape of a bib:  we glued lace around
the edges :  I cut some letters out on the Cricut ; glued them on and I must say
it is really unique;  its big enough for people to sign and she can use it as a nursery
decoration if she likes.

Have a great day everyone and stay dry and SMILE ( yes even you TIA)

Morning Darla!!!  Thanks for the KB congrats!!!

I forgot to mention that I think you'll have to have a PCP appointment, too, to clear you for your procedure, so hopefully, you won't have any issues with that again.  But I'm glad you finally stopped procrastinating (somewhat) and are doing what you should.

The card sounds REALLY cute!!  Make sure you take pics!!  Have fun tonight!

Gyn said she would need clearance from the Hematologist - I see him for bloodwork next
week anyway so that won't be a problem- I talked with him about the gyn issues and
he said anytime after the end of May I should be fine -  I already have an appt with my PCP
for the week after the GYN appt so if she needs anything from the PCP I will take care of that then.    I'm so happy that this is almost over.

haha colonic cleansing, that gave me a much needed laugh this morning.

1. I am so very thankful for my husband. He's the most udnerstanding man I have ever met (good thing I grabbed him and married him, huh?). And, he and I think a lot alike. No matter how low, crazy, hormonal I am, he can make me feel better with a hug and a kiss. and, he'll stay up listening to my craziness even if he's dog tired and just wants to go to sleep so he can get up for work the next day. I cannot imagine life without him and I am glad for every day I get to spend with him.

2. For my girlfriends. I can always count on them to listen me out and tell me to my face when I am just plain crazy or not.

3. You guys. I can also count on you guys being my sounding board. I couldn't have imagined making so many friends online on a small forum and havign them understand and sympathize with whatever I am going through. Thank you!
