3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!

Good Morning! Geesh what is it today? I overslept a little. Then I ran into traffic in places that I don't usually. I feel so out of kilter this AM. I got to the office later than I expected! The only good (or perhaps bad) thing about the traffic is that I fantasized about winning the lottery during the entire trip. I could do so much. It would be so nice...............

Anyway, back to reality! Today I am grateful for:

1 - A really good meeting yesterday. It does not happen to me all the time. But yesterday, I just felt ON. Everything I wanted to say, came out the way I intended. I felt like I make some good points. Sometimes, I have it all in my head, but it does not come out the way I imagine. Anyway, it made me feel strong for the rest of the day! Let's see what today brings.

2 - A good workout last night! And I am looking forward to the pool tonight!

3 - My family and friends.

Hi Deb!!  Wow, with everything you had today, you'd think it was Monday!!!  Well, maybe the rest of the day will right itself!  And, of course, the pool will help restore you.

BTW, Deb, did Darla tell you I bought you a bag of TVP?  Hopefully, I'll see you soon to give it to you before it sprouts into............hmmmm.....what WOULD happen to TVP?  Wonder what the shelf life is?  LOL!!!

Today I am grateful for:

1. All three of my children getting good report cards.
2. American Homeshield- for our old home warranty. Our central air is acting up and they only charge $60 for service calls. Best gift a homeowner could ever receive to help with costly repairs.
3. My family and friends both online and off
4. One more week of school after this week
5. The scale is moving again!!!

Congrats to your children!!  I know what a good thing that is!!!  Presents for everyone!!!  LOL!!!

Way cool (pun intended) on the warranty!!!  A/C work can get REALLY costly!!!

So what are you going to do with all of your free time - enroll in MORE school???  LOL!!!  Kudos to you for being so disciplined!

Nope I am taking a much needed break I am so burned out. Next weekend the family and I are going to WV for the weekend. And we are planning a trip to Orlando for my b-day in July.
 
Trying to get all the arrangments made before I start the new job on May 11 so I can let them know I already have a vacation planned so hopefully I can get off.

I hope you have better luck with AHS than we did... After the third time the same plumber was sent by them he stripped our entire pipes in our main bathroom, requiring us to have the tile torn out and replaced - all in all, we ended up spending over $3000 dollars out of pocket because they refused to hire another plumber after the third time the work was not done so that it would not leak...  Then the third time they came out the entire spout came off the wall when the water was turned on...

Ugh!  It took us months of fighting before they finally agreed to pay for the repair of the plumbing, although we still had to pay for tile removal and replacement. 

Jus****ch who they hire, and do your own research if you are not comfortable - I wish we had!!

Knock on wood we have had them for the last 8 years and we seemingly get good contractors to come out. We usually just need freon in the outside part of the unit., which is almost 20 years old. Hopefully it died so we can get a new one or money towards a replacement unit. They usually have to come out every summer to service our unit.

I'll let you know how it turns out tomorrow...

Angie I agree we Had AHS for about 8 years they are a joke.... We had to have the dip tube in our ho****er heater replaced they came 4 times and on the 5th time I called another plumber and was told they had ruined the heater so I had to spend $1000.00 on a new one. The 1000 did cover installation too.  I also had another plumbing problem so I called them and scheduled a service call. They gave me the name of the plumbing company so I called them and then looked on Angie's list. The company was rated the worst!!! I am so mad at AHS. I canceled them 2 years ago.. I also just got something inn the mail for a class action lawsuit against them... I hate them with a passion... They do nothing but steal our money and do half a**ed work.....
