That's right, you heard me - I AM OFF TOMORROW AND MONDAY!!  WOO-HOO!!  Tomorrow is a me-day (word to the wise - unless an appendage is falling off or you're really in dire straits, do not call, text or anything else tomorrow morning!!!!  LOL!!!), I'm having a/c work done on the car on Monday, and since it's supposed to be lovely both days and on the weekend........!!!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  It's my Friday.  Oh.........did I say that already???  LOL!!!

2.  My lunch with friends yesterday and dinner with a hs friend last night.  It's nice to have me time and catch up with friends.

3.  My job - Okay, when have you EVER heard me say that?  I swear, it's like I work at a totally different place now.  I'm still in shock!!!

4.  Nic's first meeting tonight - Should be fun and hopefully, informative!

Have a great day!

Good Sunshiny Morning!

Well, Tia, I can't begrudge you a "me" day or two since I had one last week. I hope you enjoy every second of it. The weather could not be better. Have fun at the support group tonight.

Good luck Nic with your support group meeting tonight!

Today, I am grateful for .....

1 - That the weather is finally turning. In anticipation, I opted to walk around the UMBC campus last night instead of going to the gym. It was a little cool. But I warmed up sufficiently during the walk. It had some hills too, very deceptive hills! Afterward I used my car to see what the distance was. It was 2.7 miles, not too bad. I could have gone further, I think, but it was getting late. The best part is that I could not have done any of this before WLS.

2 - Sugarloaf Crafts is coming to the Timonium Fairgrounds this weekend. I had almost forgotten and then remembered last night. I won a free admission pass, making it that much easier to attend. I don't know when I will go this weekend, but I will go. Anyone else interested?

3 - Pool classes tonight and not a storm in sight. I am so looking forward to my pool workout, especially since I did not get it on Tuesday!

Have a super day!

Morning Deb!!!  Thanks!!!  I am SO going to enjoy my time off.  We have a big softball tourney/opening day on Saturday (got my hat AND sunscreen), and then there's brunch on Sunday, so it'll be (yet again) fun AND exhausting.  I also plan to hit the library to catch up on some reading.  When I have the time (rarely), I can usually knock out 3-4 novels a week - I miss that!

Have a super day!  Can't wait to see you on Sunday!

Hugs,

wow a 4 day weekend and the weather is supposed to be PERFECT!  I'm jealous.

i slept late this morning did not get to work till 7:15

I'm learning to fill up on shakes for breakfast.

the scale seems to be down 2 pounds! even after chili for dinner

I just ordered Jeff Dunham tickets.  OMG we got the worst tickets... but at least we are there!  and a weekend away!

girl child said the bf might be breaking up with her to 'see what's out there'.  UGH i never wanna be 16 again.

ok my grateful things:

1. flex time   so that 7:15 is late for me.... and i don't have to work past 3:45 if i don't want to.
2. all of you yet AGAIN...
3. nice weather.

Here's drink for thought:  Post-op, 1/2 a shake will MORE than fill you up!!  Hard to imagine now, though, I know.  Way cool on the scale!!!  Are you weighing yourself every day?  If you are - STOP!!!  Once or twice a week is plenty.  Trust me, you'll torture yourself.

Chili is a great dinner - pre or post-op - lots of protein!

I won't be able to go for the whole weekend, but I'm gonna talk to Boxer Heather about Jeff Dunham (what a hottie!!!).  LOL!!  On a stick!!

Based on some of what you told me, girl child's bf MAY be doing her a favor.  Hard to see that at 16, poor thing.

Have a lovely day!

if you want tickets GET THEM NOW!  i wanted good seats.. they are ALL GONE!

as for girl child's boyfriend.  he is doing her a favor. I wish she could see that the bf is a catch but he's not her speed.  he's a cutie.

she'll be fine... his loss as she's tall, funny and a hard worker when prompted.
