OT - good news

Know how about a month agio I posted a self pitying depressed post abdout my husband not getting a job we'd been looking forward to?  He got a MUCH BETTER one. He starts May 11th and he puts his 2 week notice in to his current job today.

It's true, when one door closes, a window might open elsewhere. This means a lot of good things for us. I can start paying my student loan for a graduate degree I finished 3 years ago. LOL I think Sallie Mae will be happier than I am about this news.

Wow congratulations. I know there have been jobs that mine applied for and was disappointed he didnt get only to find out later that the job was awful and it made him glad. Glad your husband got this one.

I am hoping he likes the work when he starts doing it. It will be so much better him working M-F. Right now, the retail hours are killing me. And if we have a baby, I couldn't take it with him being out weird hours.
