Hello Maryland!!
Hi there! I've been busy and will still be busy. I managed to finish one project, and have two more to go. My one final is on April 29th (next week GASP); and the other is on May 12th (in two weeks). After that, I'm free and clear while at work.
I had an awesome time at Hershey Park and had a lot of NSVs that day. I ran into Darla, Kathy and I think I recognized one of Darla's friends, a tall lady, but not sure! I also ran into Cathy Carr, the RN at St. Agnes.
I got to ride the Fahrenheit (woooooooo hoooooo!), the Sidewinder and the Great Bear. We cut our park visit short because Megan wasn't feeling well - something is always happening with that girl.
1st NSV - and the most important one to me - I didn't squeeze into the roller coaster seats.
2nd NSV - I walked the park without huffing and puffing, although Amy and Megan were. (Guys, sorry to tell you but they are anti surgery - and would probably not be good candidates anyway; they have serious willpower and committment issues.)
3rd NSV - I boasted that I would be looking like a lobster by the end of the day - Hubby was smiling at me as I walked from seeing Amy and Megan to their door at their home, and said, "There's my little crawfish."
4th NSV - I slept good that night, and wasn't sore the next day, muscle wise.
I checked my scale, and I'm stalled at 201 for the last week - I thought I'd break through the stall at Hershey Park, but I'm still stuck. Hakuna Matata - I'm sure I'll bust through this week with all the stress from the projects I have to do. If not, I'm sure it'll happen once school's finished for the semester!

Morning Candy: the tall lady was Deb from the board: shes become a dear friend:
not only a DVR patient but one of my MAC buddies. We ran into Cathy too and
passed paths with Ren Jilly and their hubbies. We got to see Heather and
her family as well, Wasn't Great Bear fun? I rode it twice along with
a couple other coasters. I'm cured of my fear I think.
We had a blast and like you I didn't hurt until the next day : my anklles were killing me
all day Sunday but I managed 8 hours at the park with no problems!!
Hope your finals go well then you can come play with the gang more!!!
I thought that that was Debbie but didn't want to say - Hi debbie and be calling her by her wrong name, like I did at Mimi's trying to get Ren's attention by calling HER Darla. Yes I did do that. LOL.
I really miss the board, it's been a way to keep my sanity - but right now insanity is taking over in desparation. I got to work early this morning, just to post online before everyone started rolling in.
Although it is great to hear from Tia, I don't need to stress her out so I figured I'd sneak on here and say hello, so she doesn't say I wasn't here. LOL
Besides, I prefer being called Sorbitol rather than MALitol, which sounds mean. :)

Wow! I thought you were exercising your sharp wit when you said that you did not recognize me! I guess I will have to be more noisy when we are together at future activities so that I make an impression - LOL!
It was good seeing all of you too. I did not make it to Fahrenheit. Although I could have been persuaded, I think. It was a great day! Congratulations on all of your wonderful moments!

Hey Candy! I'm sorry I didn't run into you at Hershey!!! We were there and got to see Jilly and Ren then saw Darla, Deb and Kathy. Sounds like you had some great NSVs! I forgot how hilly parts of Hershey are, but it was great being able to climb the hills with the stroller (carrying the baby and the 45 pound 4 year old plus our stuff) without breathing heavy or sweating. A the last minute I remembered to grab the sunscreen before we left so thankfully no major burn for me. Back of my legs got a little bit. So how is your band doing? Don't worry too much about the stall unless you're stalled for several weeks; might just need an adjustment.
