Morning Nessa!!!

I did the dentist on Friday - not fun!!!  Tell Ranesa I said "Hey!"

Tell Brian to stop being a baby!!!  Sheesh!!  Men!

Sounds like girl child is better - I thought about her over the weekend and hoped she was on the mend.

Have a great day!

Hugs,

T

Good Morning!

I am happy to hear all of the good weekends news!. My weekend was no exception. Even with Friday off, the weekend felt like it flew by. The advance forecast for this coming weekend is sounding pretty terrific too!

Today, I am thankful for ...

1 - Ren and Pete for providing me with the wonderful opportunity to cross another item off of my list.  I discovered that age is not a factor. I do still LOVE rides! I truly had missed being able to do this for decades. I had a wonderful time and no worries (other than height a few times) for any of the rides. It was great to see several of the OH family there with their families too. Everyone looked fantastic and happy. My favorite coaster was the Great Bear! (Thanks to for Darla, Kathy, and Rebecca for letting me hang with them for the day!)

2 - For the gorgeous weather this weekend. The house is completely aired out. It was super for outdoor activities. Delightful, simply delightful!

3 - I still struggle with my weekends these days food-wise. So I am grateful for the structure of the work-week. I am usually able to reel myself in during the week. I also get my workouts in during the week. I will still have to work on conquering my weekends, but at least I know I can nip it in the bud during the week.

Have a super and stay dry!

Debbie,  I totally get the 'structure of the work week'  issue.  My food sucks when i'm home and esp on the weekends.

I hate telling myself NO... I have to work really hard now on this.

Morning Deb!

I'm so glad HP was a fun success!!!  Sorry I missed you all!!  We'll have to do something like this again.

I, too, appreciate the routine of a work week!  It IS so hard to keep on track during the weekend.  Just do your best!

Have a great day!

Debbie sounds like you had a fun day.... My lids love the Great Bear.... I am glad you all had good weather too.... I do understand about the food thing. As soon as I go camping I find its so hard to eat right.. I am trying to cook healthier things not just burgers, dogs, chips and junk food...Good luck getting back on the track....

Good Morning.  Just wanted to drop in and say hi .  I also want to give my 3 things for the rainy Monday morning.

1. Greatful for waking up and feeling good.

2. Having a job to come to ( even though it was yucky getting here)

3. Grateful that a school friend survived a terrible accident yesterday.

3 Great for family and friends ( That includes my OH family)

(((Everyone)))

Have a great day!!

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!

Morning Mercedes!!

All wonderful things for which to be grateful - especially your friend in the accident.  I'm always amazed at how much damage even a "bump" can do.  Scary stuff!

Have a wonderful day!  Stay dry!

Hugs,

Tia

Morning all!  sounds like everyone had a great weekend with the georgeous weather on Saturday and the warmth of most of yesterday.

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  For having been able to spend the weekend with 3 of my sisters and my Mom.  It was actually a very pleasant visit which I think is due in part to the drugs that my Mom is on for pain and especially for anxiety.  She was way more mellow than I've seen her in...well, probably ever!!  As always it was great seeing my sisters.  The only one that is close enough to see on a regular basis anymore is 1.25 hours away.

2.  For a beautiful weekend.  It was quite a pleasant drive down to the Charlottesville area on Saturday, despite the very frustrating traffic!  Once down there one of my sister's and I took her daughters and a friend to the beach at my parent's lake.  I can't imagine that the water is anywhere near warm but the girls got right in and I got to have a one on one with my sister.

3.  I'm going to echo Debbie on this one.  Despite loving weekends, the structure of the weekdays are much better for me foodwise.  Normally I don't do horribly on the weekend, but I've found in the last 6 months that the further out I get and I'm with family, the more I tend to graze.

Try to have a good day with this LOVELY weather!

So your new motto is, "DARE to keep Mom ON drugs?!"  LOL!!!  Hey, whatever works toward familial harmony!!

But I'm glad you got some sister-time in!

Love the new avie!!!!  As always!!

Hugs,

WT

We've felt she's needed something, whether they be anti-anxiety or anti-depressants or whatever.  I'll be glad when she's off the pain meds because I don't think they are doing her any real good...she's graduated from Percocet which was causing "rebound pain" (google it, it's not good) to Tramadol (which I know nothing about really) but she's kind of loopy and unfocused when she's taken that.  I'm concerned that she's still on pain meds three months out from surgery though!
