THE FEED BAG
yesterday...
B - 1/2 a hamburger (still eating leftovers, they go a long way now!)
L - Bad thoughts on this one. I tried to eat too fast and only ended up getting about 1/3 of what I normally eat down. Was to be a ham/turkey/cheese roll up
S - Cottage Cheese (Took will power for the first time not to eat junk - good thing I am still scared of the results!)
D - 1 oz pork in bbq sauce and heinz baked beans (brit food, yum!)
40 oz protein (less learned!), 45 oz liquids, 3 out of 4 vits.
That said my surgeon says I am doing good! I don't go back for a month now... AND I have lost a grand total of 55 lbs now! Only 12 in the last two weeks, but that is still nearly a pound a day, and I will take it!

Silly girl!! LOOK at what you just wrote...."only 12 in the last two weeks...." WHEN was the last time you EVER said THAT??? Probably never.
Just relax, you're doing an AWESOME job!!!

I actually made it according to a recipe in one of my cookbooks. It called for lean cubed beef which I happened to have and I also had an eggplant that I needed to use before it went bad. As I recall my mom makes it with lamb, I'll have to ask her for the recipe this weekend. It was a little bland but still good, I should have added some of the greek seasoning I picked up at World Market at Christmas!!
You know, I went to a Greek christening for twins after that movie came out. I can only shake my head in wonder and think it would've made a great sequel. I've never seen a christening party this elaborate - it was like a double wedding - evening gowns, people throwing money at the babies while the Godparents danced them around - holy gyro!!!!
Oh, yeah, LOVE my Greek seasoning - I sautee shrimp in that and EVOO - NUM-YUMMY!!!
