Nobody EVER told me I had to space out any of my vitamins, so I take all of mine at one time after breakfast with a bottle of water.

2 - BA multivitamins
3 - calciums
iron, B12, bioton & my glucsomine for my knees

Am I doing this wrong???  Nobody every instructed me otherwise.

I was told that the part of the body that absorbs calcium and iron is the same so if you take them together, only 1 will get absorbed. Here's a good article about it: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0887/is_n3_v10/ai_106 00750/ old but still true

Even BA has a Q&A section about this http://www.bariatricadvantage.com/page/help?cat_id=11

Another RNYer here...

A.M. w/protein shake:
2 centrum chewables (yuck)
1 B-12 sublingual
2 calcium citrates
1 vit. A
morning meds

2 or so hours later:
iron

2 or so hours later
2 calcium citrates

2 or so hours later or bedtime:
2 calcium citrates
nighttime meds

Obviously I was also told that iron and calcium had to be taken 2 hours apart, iron shouldn't be taken with your multi's, and should be taken with Vitamin C (which can be a drink w/vitamin c in it).

One mutivit chewable in the morn along with a calcium citrate chewable.  Also a B12 SL daily.
It was recommended that we take them (the MVI and CaCl) again in the eve but hell if I can remember.
I'm not dying from malnutrition (my pics speak for themselves - hahe) so that's my story and I ain't changing it.
Peace

I have my lapband surgery on Monday. Today I bought liquid multivitamins, and chewable calcium vitamins. I would much rather do the monthly b-12 injections, but when will I start getting the injections? Will the surgeon write out a rx every month? I wonder..
