MIA being a PIA

Hi guys!  Sorry for being missing in action - and being a pain in the you know what.

Tia gladly pointed out that I had not been online since April 7th; and I almost wanted to stay missing just to see which one of the cute hunky cops she was going to send to check on my welfare.....  LOL

It's been busy - and I am so looking forward to Hershey Park Saturday - I need a break and need to be a little kid again without so many responsibilities.  I know that this stuff happens at Disney World, so I think it'll happen at HP!

The semester is winding down and I have several projects left to do for the classes.  I've been trying to get them done, to no luck.

I went to MIR Saturday to help hubby out at the Swap Meet - no it was not swapping spouses - it was for people who had car stuff to sell.  Well, I had contacts in - the pretty blue ones I like....and I noticed that my right eye started getting blurry - so I said, damn, they must be dirty.  Blink Blink Blink Blink - no good, so I took them out.  About a hour later, my eye started burning, stinging, and feeling like someone had a voodoo doll and was sticking pins in my eye.  I had the most difficult time driving back from mechanicsville - I couldn't see anything, and actually forced my left eye to stay open so I could see the road through the pain.

I wound up going to SAH ER, and hubby caught up with me there, so when the doc checked my eye, she told Jerry to take a look at what she was seeing so that he could describe it to me later on.  His explanation is your eye is like a map of US - and the scratch was the size of Texas.

He told the ER doc that he knew what it was.....he is the apple in my eye.  LOL

I missed church - which reminds me, I do need to go to church Sunday so I may have to sit out brunch.  I felt bad about not going last week that I kinda want to make up for it this weekend, and Jerry will be doing yard work Sunday so he wouldn't have been able to join me anywhere.

I will be out of the office tomorrow for a prebid conference up in Western Maryland.  IT is still working on my computer so I don't know how soon I'll get my computer back.  So, if I don't come back on, I hope to see everyone at HP having a great time!

Next week, it's going to be kinda busy - two of my projects are due.  Finals are the next week.  So I may be MIA again, but know this; I often think of you guys and wish to be on the board, but if I get on the board, then you'll get me in trouble - making me giggle when I'm supposed to be working.  There's nothing funny about specifications! 

I promise this much - mid May on until August - I should be able to be online with a vengeance - becuz that means school is over with until August 30 something for Fall Semester.

I love you all, and miss you bunches; and see you at HP if you're going!

Good to see you. Wow you are are dealing with a lot right now. Please take care of you. I will see you on Saturday.

By the way, if the brunch you were referring to is the one that Gayle was coordinating, that was moved to April 26th, same time, same place. Hope that helps.

Hello Candy glad  to see you back we missed you. My kids do all that car stuff too. MIR and the Pa swap meets.. They did not go this weekend since we went camping in PA.. Thats a long ride down to MIR. Sorry about the eye problem hope its better.. Be careful going to Western MD. Good luck with the projects and your finals.. I'm close to Mechanicsville!  If I would have known you would have been there, I would have driven up to give you a hard time!  :)
