2 Weeks from Today
. . . I will be getting ready to walk 49 miles in 2 days. OMG, it is almost here and I am just hoping I can withstand all the walking!!!
I haven't yet made my fundraising goal. It has been very difficult this year and I have about $500 more to raise before I can walk. So if you are interested, please go to my link below. Any and all donations count. Your $10 donation can allow someone without transportation to be transported to a treatment appointment.
On another note. It is almost my 1 year surgiversary and what a ride this last year has been!! I can say that this surgery is definately the best thing that I have ever done for myself and I would do it all over again in a blink.
Thanks for reading and I will post pictures from the event after I participate!!!

When we believe, all things are possible!
I'm so proud of you for taking on this challenge and I'm envious. Perhaps next year I can join you, although I really do suck at fund raising!! I wish I could donate more than the little bit that I have but it's been a very hard year. I will keep my fingers crossed that you pull through in the end and can't wait to see pics!!!

Thanks for the praise. I'm proud of myself too. Next year, I'm going to start fundraising earlier!!!! I intend to take pictures and will post as soon as I get out of my coma after the walk (LOL).

I know it is not a lot but I did a $10.00 donation. I always do the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Washington, DC. It is the first Saturday in June. We have a team " Called Friends Celebrating Life". Right now my funds are really tight because I am trying to get all of my little bills paid off.
Every little bit counts. Good luck in the walk. My team captain wants to get up prepared to do the day walk some time in the future. That is one reason this weight has to come off.
I am looking forward to seeing the pictures.
