Glad your home Melissa...read your blog....and each day will get better.  At least you slept in a bed already, I slept in a recline the first week home before I was pain free enough to lie down and be able to get up pain free.

Welcome to the losers bench!!  See ya at meeting soon.

Melissa, I am sorry it has been such a rough start for you.Hang in there. It will get better. Don't worry as much about trying to hit your protein goals at this point. You can work on improving that with time as you begin to feel better. Do try to work on the fluids though, if at all possible. The risk for dehydration is higher in the beginning.

Wishing you all the best!

Hi Melissa!

I'm sorry to hear you are having a rough time - my first few weeks out were rough like yours - and at almost 3 months out, I've left my regret for doing this behind and am happy about my new life!

I think things will get better for you - and am so happy that you have such great support at home.  When I was at the point you are, I just concentrated on one day at a a time.  Everyday got easier.

Good Luck!!
