Finally!!!

Well, I received my surgery date today, and I'm excited to tell everyone that I'm scheduled for surgery on May 12, 2009 @ 7:30 a.m.!!!  WooHoo!!!!  I can't wait!  Tia, Darla and Cira, thank you for all of your love and support it has meant a lot to me.  Also, I want to thank Tia for accepting my request of being my angel!  This has been a long journey to get approval, but I would do it all over again.  This is the second best thing to ever happen to me, of course the first would be my son Hunter lol!  For all that are jumping through the insurance hoops and waiting for approval, don't give up because it will all come together eventually.

I wish you luck,and you are right when you said it is worth the wait (weight) LOL  . I had VSG on 2-24-09 and I tell everyone, if I had to, I would do it over and over again. Having WLS is definitely a roller coaster ride, but it's the best ride that you will ever take. Take care of yourself and 5-12 will be here before you know it!!  Leslie:)

Thank you, and yes up until the past few weeks I lived in Harford County.  However, I still go there often to visit.  Hopefully I can make it to the meeting I will let you know.
