3 THINGS FOR WEDNESPAY!!!
Good morning!!! I had to check the calendar this a.m. to make sure it says April, because I am freeeeeezing!!! My hands are like popsicles!!!!!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. The good news that Heather's Dad got. He sent me an email giving me the news (and also whispered that he ate about 75% of the bread pudding I made him by himself!!! LOL!!!). My continued best wishes and prayers go out to them as they battle this demon. For now, let's take that good news and RUN with it!!!
2. That everyone seems to be getting good news as far as approvals - Shore Heather, Becki, etc. - It's exciting to watch your journeys begin!!! We'll be with you every step of the way, too!!
3. Prepackaged chicken strips - These are great in salads and for dinners (like last night) when I don't want to think!!!! A low carb tortilla, chicken strips, cheese and salsa and voila! quesadillas!!! In about 5 minutes!!!!
4. That one boss and two co-workers are off. Woo-hoo!!! Now, if I can just keep the little man happy, it'll be a good day!!!
5. Trader Joe's - Headed there after work armed with bday gift cards!!!!!

Good Morning! I agree with your number 1 and number 2. It has all been so exciting to see. My day started off a little out-of-whack. I came into the office early for an important conference call. The main presenter did not attend. Seems there was some confusion there. Anyway, I get to set this up for another day around the same time again! Oh well!
Trader Joe's - hmmmm - have not been there in a while and I just got paid today - I may have to pay them a visit when I am off on Friday!
Today, I am grateful that....

2 - That there is reward ahead for all of this gloomy, damp weather. The forecast for Saturday is shaping up quite nicely. This is great since there are major outdoor plans for Saturday - yippee!
3 - Mood lighting - The bright fluorescent lights in the office have been bothering me lately. So I have been using some inexpensive table lights in the office in my workspace. it gives just enough light to see the keyboard and papers without the glare! Why didn't I think of this before? Anyway, I shall enjoy it now.

Yes, it IS exciting to see these newbies begin their journeys. Of course, the OCD part of me wants to shake them and say, "LISTEN to me, I know what I'm talking about, don't make the same mistakes I did!" but that's not always the wisest course of action!!! LOL!!!
So does in early mean out early for you? Yeah, right.
My co-worker just said, "I need to go to Trader Joe's," so it looks like it might be a work-related field trip!!! Yay!!
You know, I've thought about bringing in a lamp for the office, for the very same reasons as you. But so far, it's only been a thought!

it's critical patch week (microsoft releases the security patches the second tuesday of the month) so it's our busy week.
girl child's Boyfriend spent half of spring break in the hosptial with a virus and she has been sick and she went to school and now she's at the nurse.
I can't get out of here because it's just not good for me to be gone yet again. I missed monday.
i'm missing half of friday (to get a DEva cut at the Mane Tamer which is next door to the Panera where we had lunch that one time)....
brian is really nervous about the surgery... and i'm not supposed to have mine till he has his... but my tests are done and his are not done till the middle of May for goodness sake...
oh and it's MY aaron's birthday (my friend and webmaster) and we have a gorgeous cake for him and we are taking him out for lunch....)

Okay, now I need a nap after all of that. S I G H. Never ends, does it?
As far as Brian, if he's even remotely intelligent, I'm sure he's aware that the inherent risks of being SMO are MUCH greater than wls. It IS a hard thing to wrap your head around sometimes, the possibility of dying from surgery, but what scared ME more was the PROBABILITY of dying if I didn't have it. It's as simple as that. If he wants to grow old with you and watch children and possibly grandchildren grow up, he needs to bite the (protein) bullet and do this. First and foremost, he needs to do it for himself, because he can't POSSIBLY be happy living like this. Just my .02!!!

Today I am grateful for
1. Stealing Tia's and Debs --- For al the good news about Heathers Dad and all those who have
gotten surgury dates: I will never forget the day I got mine and began the countdown to my new life!!!
2. That I made it to the Mac for one class in the pool last night : I stopped at church
for an hour and a half ( a little longer then I thought) and made it for half one class
and the aerobic class: My legs feel it today but I always love that warm water:
It truly helped reduce my stress level last night.
3. That only a couple days before my rollercoaster initiation LOL I have never been on one
so I am scared ****less and excited at the same time !!
4. That the weather forecast is vastly improving in time for the weekend!!!!
