Brian and I forgot that we had Echo and stress tests today.   we ate chocolate and drank coffee yesterday.  I have to cancel the tests...

I am so stupid.  I can't keep it all straight.   I thought today was Ranesa for me.  I really need to go.  I"m really overeating...

I am so sorry - I know how frustrating that can be. When I was going through all of the testing, I placed my appointments both in my daytimer as well as Outlook with alarms set. In fact I still do this. This really helps me keep it all straight.

Deep Breathing Exercises....

I can imagine the overwhelmed feeling of keeping all of this straight! I didn't have half the tests you do because there was ONE of me, and I had six months to do them in and I felt overwhelmed at times.

Just remember it is not a race, you will get to the end of it all in time, and that it is for your own good to get them done when you are in the best frame of mind and body!

When do you see Ranesa again?

I kept everything in a yahoo calender that emails me the day before I have to do anything... Kept me on better track...  Good Luck!

Nessa:  What I have started doing is putting my Dr appointments in my cell phone and
setting alarms to go off 2 hours before to remind me :  does your new phone
have something like this :  You could set the reminder for the day before so something
like the chocolate/coffee does not happen again :

As far as the overeating you are probably having what we all get at some point:
" Last supper Syndrome"  Ranesa will help with this but it is something we all go thru:
Your mind is saying :  I won't ever be able to eat this again !  Trust me you will:
just smaller quantitys.  eventually you will be able to eat  almost everything.

Don't beat yourself up :  We all forget appointments now and then :  and you have
not only yours but hubby's to remember as well.

You can still get the echo's done but not a chemical stress.  Can you both get on the treadmill - you don't need to restrict your diet if you are having a treadmill./
Hang in there.  I gained alomost 7 lbs. between my first appt and surgery - and it was only 2 months....

Keep your chin up Nessa, this too shall pass and you will get to the place you long to be.  We all make mistakes and have along the way, but eventually we got to where we are today.

If all else fails... smile until you fool yourself into being happy and stressfree.

~big hugs~
