Glad to hear your cramping is finished! Odd, I haven't had any unusual cramps, stabbing pains or otherwise since my surgery. I used to call them "phantom pains" because they came out of nowhere and sometimes took my breath away but didn't linger.

Yesterday I ate:

B:  Greek Yogurt w/ reduced sugar strawberry jelly w/ splenda

L:  Lemon chicken w/ snap peas

D:  Beef & bean soup and a green salad high in protein (eggs, pine nuts, cheeses)

S- NSA Breyers Vanilla Bean ice cream with melted peanut butter on it.

Not enough fluid, but all vitamins and other meds.

Next!!!

Yeah, I remember talking to you about the phantom pains.  This was vastly different upper abdominal cramping, so severe I was doubled over and writhing with pain for a few hours.  I thought gas...nope...I thought constipation so I took milk of magnesia but after it did it's job, there wasn't much of a result to indicate constipation.  Dunno...stuck?  Also had some similarity to a gall bladder attack but not totally.

Things that make you go hmmmm...

I love reading what you all are eating so I know there is light at the end of this tunnel of food trying!

B - Scrambled Egg w/Cheese (started to wear this out...)

S - Saltines

L - two slices ham and turkey rolled around a half a slice of cheese with cottage cheese... this was surprisingly really good!  (Smart Ones meat from a prepack)

S - Breyer's Light Peach Yogurt

S - (late dinner) cheese stick

D - Beef Veg Soup with a scoop of protein powder

64 oz fluids, 60 g protein, and all my vits!

Angie,

I got stuck in a breakfast rut early out too.  Some breakfasts that I ate to mix things up.......

turkey bacon,  hard boiled egg, oatmeal with protein powder, peanut butter and thin  apple slices on whole grain crackers (i ate Dare brand crackers....still do), cheese and whole grain crackers, and i might be strange but I eat tuna salad and chicken salad for breakfast all the time.

There is DEFINITELY a light at the end of the tunnel!  I eat a wide variety of great tasty food at 5 months out =)

Hang in there....you're doing an incredible job so far!

I am thinking I need to find an unflavored protein powder... I am hating unjury right now, but may break down and order a plain from there...

What protien do you use to mix with oatmeal?  The vanilla didn't get it for me... LOL

I am ready to be able to know what I can and can't do!

I also think I need to buy a scale - at least then I will see progress on a more consistent basis!

I mainly used Vanilla but I had also used the Nectar Strawberry Kiwi to make a fruity oatmeal.  I have yet to find an unflavored protein that I like........the unjury was awful to me!

Some people are anti-scale but I have one and I use it daily.  I find that it motivates me to weigh myself each morning.
