I am glad to do whatever I can for you. Big HUGS!!!!!!!
I will recap what I wrote on the other post....
I know quite a few folks have already started their Easter weekend and are off today. I suspect the message board will be quiet today. Although I am working, it should be a quiet day for me today too - finally! We had a major implementation at work yesterday and things appeared to go very well. This has been what has been consuming all of my time over the last several weeks. The day after an implementation is always a quieter day. So I am working from home today. I will be stepping out around mid-say for an MD appointment and then back to wrap up the day.
I hope everyone has an absolutely fabulous Easter. I know the weather will not be perfect for the entire weekend. But it is the weekend, so let's make the most of it!
Today I am thankful for......
1 - A great workout last night. I have not been working out as much lately because of the demands of work. Even though yesterday was a long day, I made it to the gym and felt so much better after . I slept like a rock last night! I hope to work out tonight and Saturday to try and get back in the groove.
2 - A relaxing weekend - This weekend is totally mine to do with as I please. i have nothing that I HAVE to do. It is my weekend to relax, recoup, and regenerate. Sounds a lot like Easter and Spring doesn't it? I do want to go and buy a hyacinth. I love the fragrance of that flower and it always makes me feel good.
3 - For all of you. No matter how much I am able to participate, I always know that you are there for me. I wish you all the best.
Debbie
there for me.
Glad the implementation went well and that you can relax this weekend.
I have my hair and nail appt tomorrow ( which I really need : thats what I get for trying to go
three weeks with no Fills Some of these nails are hanging on a thin thread)
Then Dinner with the family at Friendly Farms tomorrow afternoon : geez that is going
to be hard to resist those sugar buns and those french fires not to mention the
homemaid icecream - Ok OK I'll probably end up trying a little of each -- but
its Mom's birthday and she loves going out there - and the whole family will
be there ( probably watching me like a hawk ) and that is very rare for all of us to get
together so I know it will be FUN.
Sunday is going to be a quiet day : church in the AM then probably dinner somewhere
( no reservations yet)
Today I'm grateful...
1. That it's FRIDAY! Like Deb, I have nothing planned for the weekend but would like to get things accomplished. Since it will be raining at least tomorrow morning, it's a good excuse to get housework done and to go through more old clothes.
2. That it's Spring and getting warmer...I so hate the cold and since I'm colder since surgery, I'm actually anxious to see how I do with heat.
3. For all that technology offers. I don't know where I'd be without a computer and the ability to get back in touch and keep in touch with friends!
Have a great day and HOPPY EASTER everyone!
Heather
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Friends - I got to spend some time with Heather M. and her girls yesterday - we went to see her parents and had lunch with them. Her Dad looks AMAZING!!! Truthfully, he doesn't appear to be ill at all, and I pray that the treatments work and he's given continual good news. I made Dad Dave a pan of s/f bread pudding and it seemed to turn out well. Even my own picky father said it was really good and he couldn't tell it was made with Splenda! Amazing!!!
2. For my time off - Really, with all I've had going on this week, I don't know HOW I manage to work full time!!! LOL!! I've enjoyed being with KB, but I need some REST!!! Hmmm....maybe tomorrow, although Mom wants to run some errands, there are eggs to be dyed, baskets to be assembled, etc. SIGH.
3. That my pouch works - even though I ate good yesterday, my pouch reminded me that it's not overly fond of steak - oh, was I sick yesterday!! I had visions of christening Heather's new van, but fortunately, it passed. Even well into the evening, though, my pouch was tender. All is well today, thank goodness.
I hope everyone has a blessed, joyous Easter!
Hugs,
Tia
